Humbling comments from real veterans for SOLO VIETNAM
I continue to receive the most humbling comments from actual Vietnam Veterans from the USS Coral Sea and Chu Lai. Check out this letter!
dear jeanette, just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Flying Solo and Solo Vietnam. Gene would have been so proud to know he played a part in your book and that you think so highly of his writings. Since his death last year, I have been unable to focus on any of my books which normally play such an important part of my day. However, I had a difficult time putting your books down and so admired the technical knowledge you acquired and displayed in both books, particularly in the 2nd. Your description of Gene's inability to think of past and future, only the present in order to survive was so accurate. I hope you do receive this email since it is the only address I have for you. Thank you so much. Joy Lathrop
Wow...now that motivates a writer to write!
