[image error] In the future the Earth is in the midst of a civil war against the rich and the poor. People have escaped off to the Moon or the new colonies on Mars to get away from the fighting. On a cargo ship a group of misfits are trying to stay away from the war, but soon they are thrown back into it whether they like it or not.

Mock Cover.

Was sent my first mock cover for Space Rebels. I like it, and I am looking forward to the release next month. As soon as it is settled I will post it up. I also received my certificate of registration for Flights of Delusion. So things are moving. I am trying to get some editing done on The Unicorn and the Serpent but Ren Faire this weekend so we are putting on our last touches on our costumes.

Okay now back to editing another snippet from Unicorn & Serpent coming soon.I have done one edit through but now I am doing the main edit and I have to say I do love the story. I think I am missing something. Not sure what. I am trying to cut out some stuff that is just there, which I find I do a lot of.

Monday Snippet

 The Unicorn and The Serpent
He came at her swinging his sword, his face twisted in anger. She moved out of the way easily. She swirled, her dress moving with her, their swords clacked against each others. She smiled and walked away. He stood there stupidly for a few seconds. He came for her. Their swords clanked. He used power to push his sword towards her. She pushed him away, and swung her sword cutting his arm.
            He looked down at it, and touched the cut. He raised his hand looking at his own blood. “You dare cut me.”
            “Consider it a love scratch,” Coyle said. The men laughed.
            “I will give you one too,” she said in a small threatening tone.
            He put out his hand. “I mean nothing.”
            “I will hurt you for this!” He shouted and came at her with a roar. She dodged him, and he turned sword glinting from the falling sun. Their metal clinking hard as they connected. They connected with each hit. Philip struggled to take control as Morgan danced about, her sword constantly moving. His sword came, and she blocked it hard making him loose grip of his sword. It flew from his hands.
            The men cheered. Hector picked up the Prince’s sword. “Do not worry she bests us all.”
            Morgan gave him a small bow and turned. She sheathed her sword. She and Grady met eyes as he gave her a small nod. She nodded back. Ryan moved by. “I will get you later,” she said.
            “I cannot wait,” he said sarcasticall

Tea time and break over...

I had to have some time off from writing, and in the past few weeks I was going through some work changes. But now I am back on the case of editing. But don't get me wrong tea time is a must for a good solid writing time. Also I find that TV and games like word with friends are very distracting. lol. So I will be adding progress bars on the side for editing and writing. I want to start on something new but i have 4 books that need more attention then I have given them. Who knows I really want to get them published this year.

Editing sucks

I want to write not edit. (sigh)
