Blood Ties Play List
I love creating soundtracks for my books. Some times the songs felt right for the scenes or it just helped when writing. I can’t do quiet. It causes anxiety. I am weird that way. I also have Misophonia which is a disorder in which certain sounds trigger emotional or physiological responses that some might perceive as unreasonable given the circumstance. Those who have misophonia might describe it as when a sound “drives you crazy.” Their reactions can range from anger and annoyance to panic and the need to flee. The disorder is sometimes called selective sound sensitivity syndrome. Music helps with those annoying noises.
Below is the link for the Blood Ties play list. Some of the bands you will see is Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Chevelle, Stained, Talking Heads, and Cat Stevens.

Welcome back to the Opposite Side, where not everything is as it seems. Leslie is searching for her missing sister as she herself is being hunted by the very organization she had just quit. With his help, she teams up with Jamie, Princess of Fairy, who is in town looking for her missing partner, who happens to be a werebear. Their paths seem to lead them to the cult of Lycanthia. The closer they get to the truth, the more Leslie’s life is unraveled. Someone had used magic on her to lock away memories. Self Care: Pet Care

The benefits of owning a pet is scientifically beneficial to our well-being. There are lots of studies done to show that. Animals help cheer us up. They give us the warm and fuzzies as we snuggle with them. They help us control stress and anxiety. The help cure loneliness. Pets also shown to decrease symptoms of depression. It is also said that they make us more open and comfortable with other humans. The one thing two pet lovers can be excited about is sharing their love and stories. Just mentioning a pet is powerful. They just make life seem better when it seems it isn’t.

Now that we know pets help us with self care without even trying. Have you practiced good pet care?
First you need to understand getting a dog is not something you do cause everyone has a pet. Pets are a responsibility. You need to care for them like you would care for children. They need doctor check ups, schedules, good healthy food, and play time with their hoomans.

Pet Self Care Tips:
Fix your dogs and cats. This helps from them roaming from their yards, unwanted puppies (we have so many out there), and it does help keep your pets from getting cancer as well. Dogs are pack animals. If you keep your dog outside by itself there is a bigger chance your dog will get depressed with loneliness and stress, or them getting out of the yard to wonder around. Leaving dogs unattended also increases them getting stolen, poisoned, and beaten by strangers. Outside dogs who are left unattended can get heatstroke in the summer and frostbite, hypothermia, and dehydration during the winter. Do not leave your dog chained either, that is just cruel. Make them a part of your family, and your dog will be happy.Train your pets. Untrained dogs are often punished for their “improper” behavior. You need to train your dog because you will be the one teaching them how to communicate with you, but there are people out there who will help with the training. Remember training should not include any activity or device that will harm or endanger your pet. Keep them on a schedule. Schedules are good for you as well as your pet companion. Walks, play times, and feeding. If you need help hire someone who can walk/sit your pet while out or at work. Another one I am adamant about use a leash/harness. Harnesses are more comfortable for your dog. So you don’t pull on your dogs neck and hurt them. Always keep your dog on a leash when you are out of your yard unless you are at a place you feel comfortable letting them run free. Leashes are for their safety. Dogs are like little kids, they might see something, and want to check them out. They don’t know that vehicles harm, and they get scared and freak out when lost. Socialize your pets. Don’t alienate them, that causes them to get stressed around others when they come into contact. My dogs have been socialized with family and friends from the beginning. Because I want them to be friendly to our little nieces and nephews that run around. You also have to let them socialize with other dogs as well. Yearly Vet checks. Your dogs need yearly shots, and visits to doctors just like us. Get a Vet that is good to your pet and makes you feel like you found a good doctor for yourself. If your dog gets sick or injured never wait to take your dog in. They can’t tell you what is wrong, and it might be something small, but what if it isn’t?Food. Food needs to be healthy. Cheap foods are just bad for pets. Look at what is in the food your dog eats. Stay away from ones with first ingredients of corn. That is just filler. Grooming. Grooming differ per dogs. My Luna has white long fur, and gets dirty quickly. She needs to be bathed, brushed, and trimmed. My Charlie has short hair and he gets dry skin if bathed like his sister. He can’t be brushed like her. But he also has a eye problem that he gets from his Saint Bernard genes.Did I miss something? Share your pets with me tag me on Instagram! What are your training tips? I want to know.

Rock My Stars snippet
“You want a beer?” Danny asked.
“Not until noon. I’m not an animal,” she said, and they shared a laugh. Liz just kind of tilted her head at them.
They went to check out the first band, getting ready to start. This festival had three stages. The two smaller ones rotated smaller bands, and later the big stage would start with the main headliners. Black April was one of those small local bands they had seen before, and she blogged about them. Someone invited them onto the festival scene, which she was happy about seeing them again.
Their crowd was building, but they managed to get in close to the gate separating them from the stage. The band started hard. Tabby watched as the crowd reacted to the music. Metal horns raised in the crowd, a mosh pit started, and the band rocked on.
Halfway through their set Walt nudged her, motioning at the stairs going to the stage. There stood Spencer and Jimmy. She eyed him, never seeing him this close in person. Maybe it was her, but he looked way hotter in person than he had on-screen and far away. He had on a white V-neck shirt that clung to his muscular arms and chest making her sigh and think dirty thoughts as her eyes traveled down his body. If she only got one chance to check him out, she was going all for it. His black pants were holey in the right spots and clung to the other spots just right. Her body heated up as she couldn’t help but want to see him naked.
“Stop drooling. Want me to get his attention?” Walt shouted in her ear.
“NO! I wouldn’t know what to say. I can’t be just standing there looking stupid and drooling like a warthog.”
The band ended a song. “Yo, Spencer!” Danny shouted as the crowd around us cheered and called out. “My friend likes you!”
“Danny!” She said, horrified, feeling her face heat up, and hid behind Walt. “Asshole.”
“I don’t think he noticed,” Walt said, pulling her from behind him.
The singer of Black April, Will’s voice, came over the speakers. “You guys have been great in welcoming us to start off this awesome festival. I do have to throw props to Tabby,” he said, pointing to her. She felt her face heat up. “Who did a great write-up about our concert and the new album dropping next week.” The band all gave her a small bow which drove the crowd crazy. She threw the group horns and was pretty sure her cheeks matched the red of her hair. It was one thing to be noticed by readers, but to be called out by a band is too much. She didn’t do the blog to be noticed. She did the blog to chat about the great bands she went and saw.
The band started in on their last song, which happened to be her favorite song off their new album, and it rocked live. Great way to start the festival with some angry screaming. They cheered with the crowd when it ended. She happened to glance at Spencer and Will chatting. Walt wanted a beer, so they started to leave.
“Tabby!” Will called over, walking to the gate.
“Hey, Will, great start. I saw you talking to Spencer and Jimmy.” She looked past his shoulder and saw Spencer look at her. His eyes were a beautiful gray. He had dark brown stubble that matched his unruly hair. He smiled and gave her a wink. No, that just did not happen. She might have blanked out for a second. She looked around to see maybe it was someone else.
“Yeah, they would like to talk to us about doing a winter tour.”
“That is pretty awesome.” They fist-bumped, and she pulled her phone out. “You mind?”
“Nope,” he said, and he wrapped his arm around her shoulder as she snapped a selfie. They said bye, and she walked over to Walt.
“Did you see that?” She asked him as they left. “I think Spencer totally winked at me.”
“Nope, sorry, I was looking at the girl who did a somersault over there. She had no panties. Do not tell my wife.”
“You know I got your back.” she thumped him on the back. “let’s go get that beer, big guy.”
“Danny, you see the somersault?”
“Who could miss it,” Liz said, not humored. Almost made Tabby wish she’d seen it but then would have missed the wink. Maybe he was winking at someone else. But wait, he was looking at her. Wasn’t he?
I am hoping to release it this summer. *fingers crossed* Will talk more about it when I finish it.
