Breaking Away Prequel Available

The prequel to Breaking Away, Cold To The Core, is now available to purchase in the Amazon Kindle Store priced 77p. It is about the life and crimes of Joseph Michael Lee, the Dead Eyed Dad. Thanks.

Joseph is full of surprises

I'm currently in the middle of writing the story of Joseph Michael Lee, the Dead Eyed Dad. It will be a prequel to the Breaking Away Series and probably the last book I write about these characters. He's full of surprises, even for me and has many secrets to tell. Hopefully his story will be available to buy on Amazon next month. It's not writing the actual story that's time consuming, it's all the editing and trying to make sure there aren't any errors, which is difficult when you're reading off a laptop screen.

New Book Available!

Winter's Sun is now available to buy on Amazon, priced £1.03. It is slightly more expensive than my other books because I've had a few readers say the very cheap price of my other works made them consider whether it was worth downloading or not. Also, because this is my sixteenth book, the quality is better because of all the practice I've had writing! Hope you enjoy it.

Winter's Sun

Close to finishing my next book, Winter's Sun. It is set in the beautiful Pendle villages in Lancashire, where I was born and bred. It's another thriller/romance but a bit different to my other books, nothing like the Dividing Line or Breaking Away books, slightly gentler than than they were. It will be available to buy on Amazon some time next month, it's currently in the editing stage. Although it's exciting finishing a new book it's also quite sad because it means I have to say goodbye to the characters.

Bloody Scotland

Looking forward to the Bloody Scotland crime writing festival in the beautiful city of Stirling, 13th to 16th September. The cream of Scottish crime writing, or Tartan Noir as it's known, will be there. A chance to learn from the greats. Final programme to be announced 6th June.

New Website

I've never written a blog before, I'm not very technically minded. I can cope with a word processor and a kindle and beyond that I'm pretty useless but here goes...

I've finally created my own website, or to be more precise, my husband made it for me!

At the moment it just contains my biography, titles and a blog, which I will use to advertise my up and coming novels. I also intend to put some short stories on, based around characters I have already created, such as Laura and Zak and Rachel Maguire but that will be at some point in the future, I'm busy working on a couple of novels at the moment. It's all very exciting!
