Culloden Battlefield and the Fallen

My husband and I recently returned from Scotland, where we got to tour the Highlands where my ancestors were born, including Mount Cuillin on Skye, several standing stones, and the Culloden Battlefield just outside of Inverness. What was interesting was to find out that my Campbell ancestry, which in the United States is viewed with much pride due to their powerful clan-association with the Blackwatch and the Queen’s Guard, are not very well-liked in northern Scotland, while the MacLean side of my family, of which I know very little, are viewed as heroes...

The Auction - New Release

The Auction by Anna Erishkigal All royalties for November will be donated to a non-profit organization promoting Equine rescue & rehabilitation...

Dumped at the altar and left without a home, Rosie Xalbadora takes a job as a governess at the edge of the Australian outback. There she meets Pippa Bristow, a sensitive child who copes with her parent's bitter divorce by escaping into a magical world of fairy queens and unicorns. Pippa's enigmatic father, Adam Bristow, is willing to endure whatever he must to keep his daughter safe from his oil heiress ex-wife.

Struggling to shield Pippa from her mother's games, Rosie must face the ghosts of her own painful past while fighting a growing attraction to her handsome, emotionally unavailable employer. When Rosie and Pippa save a small, white pony from slaughter, their ill-timed compassion puts Adam's custody dispute, Pippa's fantasies, and Rosie's worst fears all up for bid in an epic showdown.

'The Auction' is a sweet, contemporary romance styled with the heart-wrenching, Gothic undertones of 'Jane Eyre' and just a hint of the supernatural.

'A Gothic Christmas Angel' is a finalist for eFestival of Words Award

Yippee! A Gothic Christmas Angel is a finalist in the eFestival of Words Independent eBook Awards in the Best Novella category! In the first few rounds of elimination, ebooks are nominated and pared down to a select few based on the merits of the strength of the writing. In the final round, however, just like American Idol, the winner is chosen not by judges, but by you with a popular vote.

A Gothic Christmas Angel by Anna Erishkigal

Want to help propel A Gothic Christmas Angel and the tall, dark and handsome purple-winged Archangel Jeremiel over the top? Go to the eFestival of Words website and register:

HERE: http://www.efestivalofwords.com/2014-...

[*you have to register so they can ensure there is no sock-puppet voting fraud*]

And then go back HERE ('cause it's not obvious): ttp://www.efestivalofwords.com/best-novella...

...and scroll down to the 'Best Novella' category and vote for me!

Be sure to visit the original URL I listed and scan through the other categories to see if there's any other great indie authors you've read who you'd like to see win!

If you vote for me, I promise to cut taxes, balance the federal budget deficit, roll back corporate personhood, and give free root beer or beer to every citizen... oh ... sorry ... wrong election :-) If you vote for me, it will make me very happy and grateful!

[*maybe grateful enough to write that sequel starring Jeremiel some of you keep pestering me to buckle down and write*] :-)

Be epic!
