If an author is in a forest and stops writing.... #badjoke #writingissues

So, the question should be posed. If an author is sitting in the woods and stops writing does anyone know? LOL I know, a sad play off the 'if a tree falls'...

I've been MIA, AWOL, hiding, misplaced. Any and all of those are appropriate. What does that mean for my writing? Nothing. I've been struggling with my beastly Muse. He's been silent and a pain in my ass for weeks, months. BUT, I've slapped him around a little and given him a few ideas to chew on. I'll be bringing some new stuff to everyone soon.

But, I'm back in the saddle. Which means I'll be bringing Tattoo Tuesday back, and doing more reveals for upcoming stuff.

Welcome Golden Czermak to Tattoo Tuesday


Give me four sentences that sum you up: what you do, who you are, where you've been...
I'm a professional photographer specializing in fitness and fashion photography, weddings and portraits. I do both personal work and commercial projects. I'm pretty easy going(though some would say I stress... lol) yet professional; I'm also driven yet fun. In other words, an all around a nice guy ;)

When did you know you wanted to be a photographer?
Probably about 7 years ago, when I started taking photos for use as stock in some of my creative Photoshop tinkerings.



What is your absolute favorite image you've taken?
Oh that is a tough one! I love all my images and the models featured in them. So hard to pick! I plead the 5th :)

If you could pack up your gear and head off into the wilds of the world, where would you LOVE to photograph people or nature?
Anywhere tropical and beachy.... as you know I have a "thing" for water shots and the ability to combine that with shoot-throughs  of tropical foliage, etc. I think would create some amazing art.


What was your first tattoo?  Does it have meaning to you?
My first tattoo was a piece I designed for my upper back.. pretty much spans shoulder blade to shoulder blade. It is a tribal piece with dragons, interwoven with alchemy symbols to produce the elixir of life. On the right shoulder is Korean for "creation" and on the left "destruction". Above the tattoo I have "the will to live overcomes all things" in latin. The tribal design also descends down the centerline of my back, ending in a sun-patterned pentacle. It all has incredible meaning to me, as my mother contracted and fought hard to battle a rare form of cancer. Unfortunately she lost that battle in late 2012.

Do you have any that you regret getting?
None so far.


If you had to pick a favorite piece of ink, which would it be and why?
My back tattoo obviously has a place in my heart... being first and carrying the most weight, but I would say both my lower legs and the story they tell about me... being totally wrapped.

Do you have more tats planned?
Yes, mainly "fill ins" and patterns to tie things together better, some elements on my quads and possibly additional sleeve work.


Do you buy into tattoos being addictive once you start getting them?
Yes... I got all the ink you see within a year. Haha. A little addictive? I think so.

What's your life plans for the immediate future? Long-term?
Immediate plans are to get my photography business up and running to full time capacity. I had been working on it part time over the year and it just grew to the point of needing full time attention. So that piece will be grown and we will also see about online sales, etc. Hopefully this will be the new thing for me long term, too.


What's something about yourself that most people don't know?
I am a huge, gigantic nerd and gamer.

If you were a superhero, what would your power be? Your weakness?
I'd love the ability to fly or use telekinesis. My weakness would be my compassion.

Favorite TV show or station?
Of all time? Babylon 5 (yep, I am a scifi geek). Currently, Supernatural.


What's your 'go to' comfort item (food, place, drink, etc)?
Macaroni and cheese. And peanut butter. And anything that tastes like carbs.

If there were no $ or time limitations, where would you be right now and what would you be doing?
Finding those models and shooting in those tropical locations.

Do you enjoy reading? Who's your fav author, or your fav type of book (suspense, mystery, biography, paranormal, etc)?
Scifi and fantasy. Tolkien's works are a favorite of mine, though they can be a challenge to read.

I know my parents were mated.”“Okay. True mates—not just married couples—are created by a ritual during sex. Each party has to bite the other at the time of orgasm and if they are meant to be mated a bond is formed. A really strong, unbreakable bond. Supposedly it has something to do with genetics and antibodies, or something like that. I haven’t really paid too much attention to the discussions about it.” She watched him closely, looking for understanding to flicker in his eyes. “It’s permanent and completely binding. No one can break it. Well, no one alive can. The only way to sever the bond is through death. The connection is intimate and psychic. You know when I was in your head yesterday? Picture that all the time. Some can learn to shut it off for a while, but it’s a mental connection with your mate that you have for your entire life.”“Okay, but that doesn’t explain the Alpha push to keep me from kissing you.”“Well maybe you don’t feel it. My wolf, and to some extent myself, have feelings for you that go way beyond a casual fuck. She wants to mark you, to leave our bite mark on your skin. That’s not a casual thought to a wolf. She’s ready to make you our mate. I’m not interested in a mate—don’t want one and definitely don’t need one.” The venom coating those last words hung between them.His dark eyes were so intent on her face that she had to look away. I work in Orthopedic Surgery. The physical part you see is nothing compared to the love i have to give to the right woman. Do we really know who we truly are by ourselves? Ive been many places, but not nearly enough.

Your back piece is amazing.  Does it have meaning to you?
My back piece is the combo of many different sessions, over 30 hours. It took on a form of itself, but it does look like a bull skull, which i like. #brahmabull


Do you have more tats planned?
I do have a small space on my back id love to add a superman symbol to. If i was in a different profession, id have a full sleeve

What's your life plans for the immediate future? Long-term?
My immediate future is to make it through the winter snow to summer lol. Long term; i just wanna be truly happy; however that may occur.


What's something about yourself that most people don't know?
Im insecure and easily depressed sometimes.

If you were a superhero, what would your power be? Your weakness?
Id love to be able to freeze time. My weakness, we'll call her Miss Kryptonite


Favorite TV show or station?
Sitcom: modern family. Always watching philly sports


Favorite movie genre and favorite movie of all time?
Thats tough. Comedy: dumb and dumber or christmas vacation.
Drama: Rudy

The gym is my daily therapy. Love Bully Hill Vineyards Wine. I think i need sushi addict meetings.

On a beach riding jet skiis and rescuing pit bulls.
