New Short Story

Good evening you old so-and-so's. So, I'm not just using old-timey slang because I'm an a-hole - oh no. Well, not this time, anyway.

It's flavor for my new short story, which just came out, that you can read if it tickles your fancy. It's called "The Locker Door," and it's a sequel/stand-alone follow-up to "The Lancer."

It's a high school detective noir, which is really fun to write, turns out. It stars a pair of dating detectives, Luke Harris and Mel Vega, and catalogs another one of their cases at the most expensive prep school in the state.

New Book!

Just a reminder, my second book "The Bad Rescue of Devon Streeter" came out yesterday!

It's about two childhood friends, Bloom and Devon, who get separated in a post-apocalyptic fantasy wasteland. There's magic, superpowers, weird aliens races, and ALOT of smartass jokes, as per my usual style.

Deadgirl

Well, Deadgirl is officially on the market. Kindle, paperback, the whole dealy. Picking it up or suggesting it to a friend would make me a very happy panda.

Plus, you know, it'll really light a fire under more Deadgirl sequels. The first of which is already written.

Puck Revisited - Deleted Chapter

If you liked Deadgirl but thought to yourself "Hey, what's the story with this Puck guy?", then I have some good news for you.

In the original draft of Deadgirl, there was an entire chapter devoted to Puck's backstory. It had to be cut for tone and length reasons, but I'm happy to provide a peak into the old boy's past.

Valentimes

So it's fast approaching that (dreaded or beloved, depending on relationship status) holiday whereupon chocolate is granted and champagne is quaffed like a bastard.

My plans are boring and overindulgent, which is that special combination I strive for. Nice dinner. Couples massage. New Die Hard movie. Another V-Day in the bag.

Plus we're doing it on Friday, to avoid crowds / reservation block. Because WE ROLL LIKE THAT. DEEP.
