Flutter Is Finished!
Well for the most part!
I still have a round of edits to do & revisions, but Flutter is done!
I have written a lot before, and other then one other children's book from high school, this is my first completed book!
I think I'm still in a state of shock, and there is some exhaustion mixed in there, but I'm elated, and can't not WAIT to be holding the finished product in my hands!! I'm so excited, and I hope everyone loves it as much as I do!
Thank you SO much for everyone's support!
Now to celebrate with another nap!

I turned around, a failed attempt to walk away when his hand shot out grabbing my arm. He pulling me back, trapping me against him and the wall.
A thrill of excitement shot through my body, leaving me feeling dizzy as he gazed down into my face.
“Not sure I agree with those odds.” Adan said.
“I don’t think you have a choice.”
“I’d say 90/10.” He argued. I shook my head. “You can’t come up with your own odds.”
“Said no one ever.”
“It’s cheating actually.”
“Where are you getting these rules from?”
“They’re common rules Adan.”
“Unless they are documented somewhere with some powerful guys signature, I’m going to have to call BS on that. I am model material for bad boys across the world.”
His hands encircled my elbows, caressing the soft skin underneath the edge of my half sleeves, and I fought to pay attention to our playful banter.

Flutter nominated for Best YA cover in 2012!!!
I was flippin uncontrollable when I found out Flutter was nominated for Best YA cover of 2012!!
Within an hour Flutter went from #113 to #1 by all you amazing rock stars who voted!

out with the old & on with the new
A couple of new things with my blog!
I updated the cover photo for Flutter! We are now sporting my new gorgeous cover!So check it out if you haven't already!
I have now added a Flutter Goodies page where you can pre-order a signed (if you choose) copy of Flutter. Order now & you will get a signed Flutter bookmark! You can also purchase Flutter bookmarks too!
I have been asked by several people for Flutter swag and I will be giving out some stuff during the month of October (more on that coming soon!) but a few friends pointed me to CafePress & Zazzle and the Flutter store was created! Check out the new CafePress page on my blog for all your Flutter you're heart out!
And last, but certaintly not least, I will be adding a pade dedicated to my favorite bloggers!! A few that I have gotten close with and are amazing supporters of me and Flutter, so keep checking for the release of that within the next few days!!

Flutter Cover Release!!
So I have been painfully waiting day's to release the official cover of Flutterand I am so flippin excited that the day has finally come!!I couldn't be more thrilled at the gorgeous cover design, Regina at Mae I Design and Photography, created for me! it is absolutely memorizing and I have done nothing, but gaze at it since I received the final design!!it has been a HUGE sucess and I am so grateful for everyone who has helped spread it around :))A big thanks to EVERYONE!!You totally rock & I love you all!!

a new book is born!
So I'm lying in bed last night, playing around on my phone and all of a sudden there is a conversation going on inside my head and then I'm instantly hit with a new book idea!
So today as I am trying to wrap up this chapter in Flutter, I keep hearing the voices and the the first scene in the Chapter for the new book idea start playing itself out in my and I can't keep it quite no matter how hard I try. So I pull up a new page in word and just start writing it out and before I know it I've written 5 pages and I'm still going.
Probably going to write a little more of this WIP and then finish working on Flutter again tomorrow. Not sure where exactly this is going to go, but I have a general idea and I'm kind of excited!
Here is just a little bit of the scene I wrote today - Enjoy!
“Don’t get any ideas. I’m still very deadly without the beast here.”I put my hands back up and together behind my head, tangling them through the dark strands of my hair. “I come in peace.”“People who come in peace usually use the front door. They do not try to scale my back wall.” I heard the dirt shift below her weight and realized she had taken a step closer to me. Turning my head I tried to grab another peek at her, but she was still not in line of my view.“Wait, you mean this isn’t the front door?” I heard the ground shift again and I knew she had taken another step closer.She had let me distract her and that was her first mistake.Her second mistake: getting close to me.
