Hungary launch party report

I had a fab time last night, answering questions from fans who attended the launch party for the Hungarian edition of Archibald Lox Volume 1. The hour flew by -- it felt like 10 or 15 minutes to me! Hungary Launch Party - last reminder!

Just 24 hours until I take part in the Hungarian LAUNCH PARTY for Archibald Lox Volume 1. I'm SO looking forward to this!! Amazon paperbacks

Amazon are increasing the printing costs for books that are published through them. This will affect the prices of all my Darren Dash paperback books for adults, as well as all the Archibald Lox paperbacks which are published under the Darren Shan name. I'm not sure how much of an increase there will be -- it depends on the size of each book -- but the prices WILL be going up, from June 20th. I went to see Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 at the cinema yesterday. Very enjoyable, a nice way to round out the trilogy. But I must admit, I'm finding it hard to keep up with all the goings on in the Marvel Universe these days -- who all the characters are, who's died, who's come back to life... I was due to do a couple of events at a book fair in Abu Dhabi later this month, but unfortunately those have had to be called off for circumstances beyond my control. Today I finished my latest edit of my next Darren Dash book for adults. As I’ve said before, it’s a science fiction story, involving time travel. It falls on the quirkier side of my oeuvre - I was aiming for the style and relative simplicity of a 1950s sci-fi pulp novel, so it’s not aiming for a whole lot of in-depth profundity!!
