More to the point, can he keep her safe long enough to convince her what he feels for her isn’t an act? BUY IT!B&NAmazon This book is genuinely an amazing read and I ADORE the cover. ALOT. Here's the blurb forCF:
Badboy, married to his job FBI agent Cole Lucas always gets his man. So when the unthinkable happens and one gets away, Cole grits his teeth and hunts human trafficker Carlo Maldonado all the way to Antioch, Texas, where he collides with Detective Andi MacLaren.Cole doesn’t do small towns and he doesn’t get involved with women he works with, but Andi tempts him in ways he doesn’t want to acknowledge.
Two murders, her partner shot and leading the investigation on her own, the last thing Andi needs is a cocky FBI agent that sees her as no more than a tagalong.Widow and single mother Andi is used to being on her own. When Cole gets stuck without a place to stay, crashing on her couch puts them in dangerous territory.
Attraction and passion bring Andi to a place she left behind when her husband died. Her three-year-old son quickly wiggles his way into Cole’s heart, and he starts contemplating things—family, love—that he’d never planned for himself.
Can being forced to work together make them stronger or will their differences jeopardize their case and their hearts?
When I get my cover, I will, of course share it!
Happy Friday! Have a fantastic w/end!

Lusting for Covers! EGYPT!
So I have been neglecting my blog as of late. I have been uber busy, had a book on deadline as well as alot of happenings that I will be able to announce shortly *EG*
This week I am sharing a cover for a novella I just read. I got sucked into another series. But they are fast and HOT HOT reads, and I love the simplicity of the covers for the series, however they are gorgeous. This is Talios, book 1 of the Kemet Uncovered Series by Aliyah Burke and Taige Crenshaw.

Book one in the Kemet Uncovered Series
I am of war and have no home that I call my own. Destruction was my closest bedfellow until I was given to a goddess to pay my penance. Now set free I am adrift with my nomadic ways. Home for me is just a place to rest until I move on to another. I know I do not deserve a place or anyone to call mine. Yet I cannot resist her.
Candace Jermaine is everything I long for but cannot dare to expect for my own. She is a woman whose heart is so big that it shines from her with a sultry innocence that I find intoxicating. A scientist who is so dedicated to her work that she shuts all else out. Including me. I question if this is but another test.
Another form of penance for all the destructiveness I wrought... but I have found I do not care. She is in my blood. Candace is the other half of my soul. Something I never expected to find. Yet I wonder can I, a god who is newly free of the bonds of my past, find a future with a woman who shakes me to my very core. I need Candace more than I ever expected that I would. My need for her goes outside the bounds of her humanity. I want her to join me in forever and beyond.(By the way, even tho the blurb is in 1st person, the book is actually 3rd, for those of you who are leery of first person POV books)Find it:Amazon B&NI really enjoyed this read and I am loving the series. Author Tag: I'm IT!
A good friend of mine, the lovely Jerrie Alexander tagged me with this fun 10 question game about my WIP.
Jerrie's first book, The Green Eyed Doll, releases 12/7/12. It's romantic suspense, sounds awesome and I can't WAIT to read it! Check out her website!
Honestly, I am working on a few things right now, but after just finishing up some revisions on my romantic suspense, Collision Force for a potential publisher, I decided to spotlight what *should* be my focus next, my sequel to my first book Sword's Call, that comes out early 2013.
So, here goes. Hope you enjoy. Comments encouraged, and if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to drop me a line.

What is your working title of your book?Love’s Call
Where did the idea come from for the book?I’m not sure I can nail it down to one thing. This is the #2 book in my fantasy/romance series and when I finished the first one, Sword’s Call Book 1 of the King’s Riders Series (releases April 2013 from Gypsy Shadow Publishing) the hero of Love’s Call, Leargan, kinda “told” me it was his turn.
What genre does your book fall under? It’s Fantasy/Romance. Think dragons, elves, magic.
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?I hadn’t really thought of that. A hot guy w/ dark hair and eyes and a pretty redheaded girl. Hehehe.
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?A handsome knight ordered to marry his former captain’s daughter, who is a messenger in the King’s service and falls in love with her in the process. Little does he know, she is already in love with him. (I realize that sounds crappy. I am kinda stumped with these things. I promise it’s good, magic and adventure included!)
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency? It will be published by Gypsy Shadow Publishing. Probably late 2013 or early 2014.
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?I don’t exactly traditionally draft. I usually end up keeping most of my words. But I have been working on this story for a few years, and honestly a lot of it will probably go in the editing process. Right now, I would stay the heart of the story is about 95% completed from start to finish.
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre? No specific titles come to mind. My world has dragons, elves, magic, castles, kick-ass females, alpha males and a historical-ish flare. Sometimes even a quest or two. Sword fights and battles! I write epic fantasy. (this time anyways, I dabble in many genres!)
Who or what inspired you to write this book?I have always adored fantasy. I grew up reading the great ones, but Anne McCaffrey is my favorite. She’s the reason I write and love this genre.
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
If you're an author and you want to play, drop me a tweet or a FB PM (links on the right) and I will email you the questions. I would love and appreciate to be tagged!
