Lusting for Covers is a weekly meme, held on Sunday, that allows bloggers to share their current cover obsession with fellow book lovers. It can be new, old, a reprint, or even a book that is not yet out-- it's all up to you! Join in on the fun, head over to TBQ's Book Palace and list your Lusting For Covers candidate.

Blurb:Running is always easier.
Tori McLeod moved to the big city to get away from her mother—and her past. Her new routine is destroyed when she meets a mysterious stranger who won’t take no for an answer. Sebastian intrigues her, but his eyes hold secrets she would rather avoid.
Sebastian Chelios, a hard-as-nails enforcer, is a new-in-town loner. He has to have her. Control her. Possess her. But he can’t—won’t—lose control, even though Tori’s innocence fascinates him. The last thing he’s going to do is love her, even after he gets her in his bed.
Losing control is dangerous, especially when someone from Sebastian’s past covets Tori, putting more than just her heart in danger.
Can Sebastian protect Tori from Jose’s sadistic obsession? If he gets his hands on her, will she make it out in one piece?
ADD IT ON GOODREADS! Doesn't it look like a flipping FANTASTIC read? Find Jo-Anna:

Tell Me About it Tuesday welcomes Suz deMello!
This week I'm excited to share with you an award winning multi-published author made of awesome!
Welcome Suz deMello!! I am so excited she stopped by. Interviewing her was a lot of fun!
So, without further ado, meet Suz!
Best-selling, award-winning author Suz deMello, a.k.a Sue Swift, has written over sixteen romance novels in several subgenres, including erotica, comedy, historical, paranormal, mystery and suspense, plus a number of short stories and non-fiction articles on writing. A freelance editor, she’s worked for Total-E-Bound, Ai Press, and Liquid Silver Books. She also takes private clients. Her books have been favorably reviewed in Publishers Weekly, Kirkus and Booklist, won a contest or two, attained the finals of the RITA and hit several bestseller lists.A former trial attorney, her passion is world travel. She’s left the US over a dozen times, including lengthy stints working overseas. She’s now writing a vampire tale and planning her next trip.
Q. Do you do any special research for your novels?
I often write historicals, so yes, quite a bit. Right now I’m writing Scottish vampires in Regency London. Although I’ve written a couple of Regencies before, there’s always something popping up. I really enjoy this aspect of my work.
There’s research in every genre, though. I once wrote a contemporary that was set in Alaska, Seducing the Hermit, and though I’d visited Alaska, I still researched it thoroughly.
Q. What’s your favorite genre to read? Do you write it?
YA paranormal, stuff like The Hunger Games and Harry Potter, but no, I don’t write it. Yet.
Q. What are you working on right now? Can you tell us about it?
As I stated, Scottish vampires in Regency London, and yes, I can tell you about it. Tentatiely entitled Rakes in Tartan, it’s the third in my bestselling Clan Kilburn’s Vampires series. With mega-hot BDSM sex and drained bodies found in the Thames, it’s great fun to write and will be fun to read, also.
Q. Did you ever write a character you didn’t like? Or one that gave you problems, going against your intentions for them or your story?
I frequently write erotic romance with a mystery or suspense subplot, and often my villains are quite dislikable. I likened one to a coiled snake. Another was simply slime in a suit. Many are treacherous and/or stupid, which is why they end up dead or drained.
Okay...enough with the business questions! How about some fun stuff. You know, just between the two of us.
Q. The opportunity to go on a surprise vacation arises. You have 90 minutes to pack and get to the airport. Where will you go and what will you pack?
I’ll go to Venice and pack a couple of masks.
Q. When YOU read, what do you like to pick up?
YA paranormal or nonfiction relating to human sexuality. Next on my reading list is Bonk by Mary Roach.
Q. If they make a movie about your life, who do you want to play your part?
Susan Sarandon.
Q. Tell us one thing about you that might surprise us...it can be a secret...we won't tell. :)
I’m a fabulous vegetarian cook.
Now for my favorite part! Tell us about that new book!!!!!!
My latest release from Ellora’s Cave is Gypsy Witch. It’s dear to my heart, being set in Sacramento, where I live. I got the idea for the paranormal aspect of it from the doorway of the Masonic Temple downtown—I’ve attached a photo of it.
That's really cool looking and I'm not surprised Suz was inspired by it! By the way, I ADORE the cover of this book!
Blurb:
The Sacramento Sheriff's Department is no place for airy-fairy wimps, and Ben McCullough is the toughest of the tough. He tells himself he's bedding the luscious Elena Lautari only because she's a babe, not because she's a card-carrying member of the Northern California Church of Wicca. Ben thinks she's a feather away from an arrest for fraud, since she makes a living telling fortunes and making charms for the lovelorn. He can't see her as a lifelong mate even though she's more than a match for him in the sack, and losing her is unthinkable.
But Elena is the real deal, a modern witch of much power and even more restraint. When her daughter, Gina, steals her mother's spell book and uses it to shatter the fabric of existence and release an ancient evil, Elena must put reality back in place—even if she loses Ben in the process. Will Ben and Elena's fragile love be lost with the revelation of her magic?
Maybe, but there are others ready to heal her battered heart. When Ben's partner attempts to claim Elena, will Ben move aside or move in?

Six Sentence Sunday: Bad guys are awesome!
I decided I would indeed rotate between two fun Sunday activities, Lusting for Covers and Six Sentence Sunday, so it looks like this week some words are in order.
Sooooooo, this is from Chance Collision, my WIP and it's my lovely bad guy, villain, if you will, Luciano Marchetti. He goes by Luca, and he's pretty vile. Translation: A hell of a lot of fun to write!
Hope you like this little clue.
Luca froze, his eyes darting around the shitty motel room. Had he actually heard something? Damn, he was becoming a paranoid freak, and he wasn’t even on coke.
Caselli had called.
It went badly.
Who fucking knew his boss could find out about Mickey’s death via the news?
Happy Sunday!

About the author:
I've been writing my whole life but mostly in just my journals or diaries. I never thought of actually writing a story.
Last year some time, my aunt suggested I write a book. I thought there was no way I could write a story that was my own. All the ideas I had bouncing around in my head were not my own and were from other books I have read. My aunt told me I could do it if I really thought about it.
So I did. And guess what? An idea came to me. Now mind you, that idea has changed ALOT! My first book is nothing like I originally started with and that's fine. I'm happy with it. I just hope others are too.
I started creating a playlist of songs that I hear that remind me of my book. Most of the songs are not from the type of music I listen to but I love them (I'm a heavy metal girl).
I don't have a writing office per say. My table is my writing area. My lap top is set up there with my notes and ideas and it's perfect for me.
I don't need pure silence to write so when the hubby is home, he can watch tv and I can write and we can still spend time together.
I'm very excited for my first book to come out, hopefully sometime this summer. I'm nervous, scared and biting my nails as to what people will think but I'm excited none the less.
So this is me, in a nutshell.

Tell Me About it Tuesday Welcomes Amanda Bretz!!!!!!!!!!!
This week on Tell Me About it Tuesday I am welcoming a fellow TEB author, and I am so excited! So, without further ado, MEET AMANDA BRETZ!!!!!!!!!
Now for the torturous interview! Hehehe.
Q. Do you do any special research for your novels?
Not usually, but I am currently writing a novel set in 1925, so I am logging a lot of research time at my local library.
Q. What’s your favorite genre to read? Do you write it?
I’ll read anything on two conditions: it’s got a great characters and even if it isn’t a romance novel, it has to have a bit of romance in it. I write romance, so I am all about love stories.
Q. What are you working on right now? Can you tell us about it?
My work-in-progress takes place in the 1990s, then goes back to the1920s when the heroine finds a stack of love letters in an old wooden trunk.
Okay...enough with the business questions! How about some fun stuff. You know, just between the two of us.
Q. The opportunity to go on a surprise vacation arises. You have 90 minutes to pack and get to the airport. Where will you go and what will you pack?
The Pacific Northwest, I’ve never been there, but it’s on my bucket list. I’m a pretty simple girl and I like spending time outdoors, so I’d pack a pair of hiking boots, a pair of tennis shoes, and my moccasins, along with my favorite pair of jeans, a long, comfy cardigan, a couple of t-shirts, a casual dress and a scarf (I LOVE scarves!)
Q. When YOU read, what do you like to pick up?
Mainly romance or YA. When I read, it’s all about getting lost in a quick, fun read.
Q. If they make a movie about your life, who do you want to play your part?
Rebel Wilson, she’s hilarious and probably the only actress with enough moxie to play me ;-)
Q. Tell us one thing about you that might surprise us...it can be a secret...we won't tell. :)
I’m terrified of reptiles! I can’t even look at a snake or frog on TV, it makes my skin crawl and I have to turn the other way.
Now for my favorite part! Tell us about the BOOK!!!!!!!!!! (the cover is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Amanda: It’s a short story called Tropical Heat published by Total-E-Bound. I’m excited because it’s a venture of firsts for me. Not only is it my first foray into the erotic romance genre, but the story is also the first title to ever be released by a publisher rather than self-published like my three previous books.
Blurb:They have one night together to explore their passion, fulfil their needs and quench their desires, but will one night be enough?
Rayne Willows is an artist from the Pacific Northwest looking to shake up her boring life. A trip to Jamaica sounds like the perfect way to let loose and rekindle her passion for photography. When she meets local man Marcus Greene on the beach in Ocho Rios, sparks immediately fly. Marcus offers to show Rayne around his beautiful hometown, but during the sightseeing tour, the two quickly realize the passion they have for each other can’t be held back. They decide to make their one night together a sexy experience neither of them is likely to forget.
Excerpt: Surrounded by the cobalt ocean and the lush green hills, I couldn’t help but feel inspired. Jamaica was all that I’d thought it would be—and more. I closed my eyes and revelled in the sensations. The catamaran I was on swung and swayed to a rhythm that only it knew.
The sun burned on the breathtaking horizon. Thanks to the powerful early-morning light, the sea glittered clear to the bottom of the cerulean depths. I turned my head when briefly the calypso music stopped and the captain announced in his lilting island accent that we’d almost reached our destination.
Ocho Rios. We were almost there. As an artist I had spent the last ten years dreaming about visiting here, all of Jamaica, actually. Seeing the popular tourist destination of Ocho Rios had always been one of my deepest desires. The town was home to so much beauty.
The boat was en route to Dunn’s River Falls, and I couldn’t wait to experience the rush of the water, the absolute freedom of being one with the land as I explored the natural wonder. When I stepped off the boat dock and touched down in the soft sand, a hundred possible paintings flashed in my mind.
The landscape that was set before me became my canvas. The beach at sunset with hues of tangerine, scarlet, turquoise and lavender. The beach at dawn when the sun kissed the shore good morning. The beach on a rainy day, with the turbulent churning of a navy blue sea against an angry, dark sky.
When I stepped a little closer to the falls, my heart pounded. The rushing water was so loud, I could barely hear my own thoughts. I stopped to stare at the unique rock formation. Nestled in the cliff just off the beach were the falls. The water cascaded down through large boulders, which resembled a jagged staircase.
Taking a step forward reverently, somewhat timidly, I dipped my head under the spray that emptied out into the sea and pulled back instantly. Despite the tropical weather, the spring-fed water coming from the falls was frigid. I paused to look around, wondering if everyone else on the beach was as shocked by the chilly waters as I was.
Groups of American tourists shrieked and splashed around on the beach, while running back and forth between the waters of the deep blue Caribbean Sea and the crisp clear water from the falls.
The scene made me smile. I brought my camera’s viewfinder to my eye and began to snap pictures of the idyllic landscape.
I nearly gasped in surprise when I saw a shirtless bronzed Adonis jogging towards me. Even though it was an invasion of his privacy, I used the powerful zoom feature on my camera to get a better shot. I zoomed in further, closing in on his washboard abs. I swallowed hard. I’d heard of a six-pack, but the sexy hunk was sporting an eight-pack.
When he got closer, I twisted the lens and readjusted the zoom to focus in on his face. I clicked off a half-dozen shots in rapid succession as he ran towards me. His features were so stunning I knew he had to be some type of celebrity in Jamaica on vacation.
Those eyes—they were the colour of warm caramel, and as he approached me, I could have sworn he was looking deeply into my own. God, he was gorgeous. I snapped one more picture of him as he jogged past me and it was all I could do not to follow him with my camera.
This looks like SUCH a good read! I can't wait to check it out!

This looks like SUCH a good read! I can't wait to check it out!

Lusting For Covers! Strings!!
I just read this book, and I realllllllly liked it. I have to admit I bought it because of the warning on Amazon, abut it was a great read. I can't wait for book 2! And I do love the cover!
This meme is hosted by TBQ @ TBQ's Book Palace. ___________________________________________________________________________________
WARNING: STRINGS is not suitable for slut shamers, uptight stone throwers, Holier-Than-Thou prudes, humorless virgins, persons with chronic neck or back pain, pearl-clutching bitties, those who disparage crude humor or vulgarity in their many forms, closed-minded people with sticks up their asses, or anyone under the age of 18. The vile, base language and shocking, unholy sexual acts contained herein are not condoned by anyone with a lick of sense and should certainly not be reproduced without proper training and protection. The potty-mouthed and perpetually horny "heroine" (the term is used loosely) of this book does not resemble a normal, well-adjusted, or remotely believable person in any way, shape, or form. The author acknowledges that the characters in this book are shallow and two-dimensional; the plot is both ridiculous and insipid. She makes no apologies for any of it.
* Readers are strongly advised to wear latex gloves whilst reading to minimize contamination risks.
Free-spirited musician Letty Dillinger adheres to a strict, "no strings attached" policy when it comes to men. After a wild night of unabashed sex in a fancy hotel room, she never expects to see the adventurous stud she dubs "Shades" again. When her all-girl rock trio books a tour at the last minute as the opening act for their archenemies, Letty's shocked to discover she knows the competition's new lead singer. Intimately. Shades is no longer a one-night stand. Now he's the guy she has to one-up on stage every night for the sake of her career.
Sharing close quarters on a bus with her sexy nemesis and his bad-boy buddies puts Letty's Golden Rule to the test. On this tour, guitar strings aren't the only things being played. And when heartstrings are pulled too hard, they're bound to snap sooner or later. Doesn't it just look FANTASTIC? Buy it!Amazon|Barnes & Noble Happy SUNDAY!

"I am the author of Military/Romance eBooks and children’s picture book series ‘Queen Emily’s Enchanted Kingdom’. I am published through Gypsy Shadow Publishing. I also scribe the short story series Warrior World. In my spare time, I write book reviews and host authors on my blog every Sunday on (you guessed it) Author Sunday."
Q. What made you pick your particular genre?
Military themed stories have always tugged at my conscious. Every book I’ve read in this genre has always given me the same feeling – more needs to be done for our Veterans. The book may be a romantic story, but I always read the last page seeing the damage that war does to the people involved. I chose to start publishing military/suspense/romance books as my way of honoring those who risk their lives to keep ours free. My efforts may seem small, but this is my way of acknowledging to our Warriors that their lives and sacrifices are in no way trivial. These stories tell of the conflicts and issues our military personnel have to deal with on a daily basis. My goal is to increase the awareness of civilians by showing just how their freedom is attained and kept. Perhaps, one day, the support our Warriors are given from our programs and governments will equal the support they receive in the field standing among their brothers and sisters.
Q. What are you working on right now? Can you tell us about it? Currently, the second book in the “For The Love of The Military” series, Love Under Fire,(the sequel to Love And Liberty) is in the first edits phase with my incredible publisher, Gypsy Shadow Publishing. I am also in the midst of writing the third book to complete the series entitled Love Unknown. Love Under Fire has a more graphic feel than the first in the series. This book deals with PTSD post brutal combat. There is not a lot of romance in this book, but more the reality of dealing with a fractured mind. Love Unknown will portray strong characters in mind blowing circumstances. A soldier’s story needs to be told. My hero and heroine find themselves lost in a real game of espionage and terror forcing them to question what is real. In the game of war, questions can sometimes have deadly answers. Q. When YOU read, what do you like to pick up? Well, as a book reviewer, I generally don’t get to pick my own titles. On the odd occasion that I do, I choose a good mystery over romance. I enjoy trying to find out whodunit before getting to the end of the story. If the book keeps me guessing right up until the end, well. . .that is an author I read again and again. Q. Tell us one thing about you that might surprise us...it can be a secret...we won't tell. :) I absolutely love kickboxing. There is something about wrapping my wrists, shoving on a pair of gloves, and punching/kicking the heck out of stuff that just brings a big smile to my face. I hear it’s a great workout too, although I’m way to busy throwing punches to notice. J
Okay now for the fun part!
Tell us about the book!!!
Love And Liberty was released in January 2012. It is the first of my books to go to print. Although the book is not of traditional length, I saw the series as both print and ebooks,
Blurb:
Captain Dana Jenkins of the United States Army is about to embark on a mission that will change her life. This isn’t Dana’s first deployment, but it is proving possibly to be her last. As part of the platoon traveling from Camp Liberty, Iraq to Camp Taji, Dana’s convoy gets ambushed. She and the surviving soldiers are taken prisoner by the merciless Iraqi rebel group, Al-Moofoona. Their only hope lies in the hands of their fearless leader, Captain Jack Parsons—the man with whom Dana has fallen hopelessly in love.
Captain Jack Parsons can only sit and watch as what is left of his platoon is ordered into the back of a truck. Along with his men, they’ve taken the only woman he’s ever allowed to penetrate his heart. Jack is going to do everything in his power to save them all before it’s too late.
Excerpt:
Dana heard the screams from the women. Her panic rose. She had to get to them. “I’m loose, Dana. Where are you?” asked a voice. “I’m here. Follow my voice. Who else is nearly free?” “I am,” answered the soldier next to her. “Okay, Dana. I found you.” Dana’s sack was pulled up her body and over her head. Her eyes had no trouble adjusting to the darkness inside the cell. They were definitely being held underground. Private Ryan McCafferty was furiously cutting at the ropes that bound Dana’s wrists and ankles. Terrified screams continued to fill their ears. “Jesus. Hurry! ” Dana hissed. Ryan cut through the rope that connected Dana’s feet to her hands. Her legs fell with a heavy thud onto the hard earth. “Sorry, Dana,” said Ryan. “For God’s sake, Ryan, don’t be sorry. Just hurry up and free the others. Listen to them! We have to get them out of there,” said Dana. She was beginning to panic that they would not get to the women in time. She knew the horrors of torture for females who, in this part of the world, were considered dispensable. “Can you move?” Ryan asked. “Don’t worry about me, get the rest of them loose!” she sputtered. Dana’s attempts at rolling onto her back were failing. Her body was completely numb. She knew that soon the blood would be coursing through her limbs again, bringing with it the painful tingling response of re-circulation. Dana was finally able to gain control of her torso and roll herself over just as an intense, fiery pain engulfed her limbs. She forced her arms to bear her weight and pushed her upper body into a sitting position. Stale, acrid air filled her nose. The room smelled of suffering. They were obviously not the first group of hostages to be held in this cell. The light was minimal, but Dana could see chains hanging from posts alongside makeshift electric chairs. She had to fight another wave of nausea as panic attempted its mental takeover. “Dana, we’re all good here,” said Ryan. “Are you guys seeing all this shit?” Dana asked in disgust. “Yeah, we gotta get the hell outta here. We can’t save them Dana. We need to get ourselves outta here!” Dana stared at the young, frightened private. He had not been deployed long and this was his first mission. She knew the fear well, but this was no time to act on it. “You can if you want. I’m going after our friends and taking all those bastards down in the process. If you wanna save your manly ass, then go now. Otherwise, follow me,” Dana ordered. The men in the platoon did not question Captain Jenkins. The fierceness of her voice mirrored their thoughts. Scared or not, they had to save their friends. Under Dana’s command, the eleven men grabbed whatever they could use as a weapon and began to pry the cell door open.

Six Sentences Sunday becomes Twelve!
So, in honor of
Collision Force
being available for pre-order, I decided to do six sentences from it, and six more from Chance Collision, which I am writing now! YAY!
Cole cursed. He stared into the rear-view mirror in the busy parking lot, but saw nothing. He’d been so close this time.
The damn local police were breathing down his neck, and that was the last thing he wanted…or needed.
Cooperation, my ass. They needed to get the hell out of his case.
This is the first six sentences of the book. Hope it teases you enough to pre-order it. Hehehe!
“Are you almost ready?”
Nikki whirled and ran smack dab into the wall of Pete’s muscled chest.
“Whoa.” Strong hands enclosed her shoulders and the warmth of his skin sank through the soft material of her short-sleeved sweater.
Her body heated, and her cheeks burned.
“I didn’t mean to startle you. Are you okay?”
This one is hot off the presses, as in I wrote it tonight. It's in Chapter 10 of Pete and Nikki's book.
Happy Sunday, I hope you enjoy my series. I really love this series and can't wait til Pete's book is done!

Anyone who buys it now on pre-order will get the book early, on MAY 31!!!!!!!!!!!!
General Release is June 28!
Blurb:Badboy, married to his job FBI agent Cole Lucas always gets his man. So when the unthinkable happens and one gets away, Cole grits his teeth and hunts human trafficker Carlo Maldonado all the way to Antioch, Texas, where he collides with Detective Andi MacLaren.
Cole doesn’t do small towns and he doesn’t get involved with women he works with, but Andi tempts him in ways he doesn’t want to acknowledge.
Two murders, her partner shot and leading the investigation on her own, the last thing Andi needs is a cocky FBI agent that sees her as no more than a tagalong.Widow and single mother Andi is used to being on her own. When Cole gets stuck without a place to stay, crashing on her couch puts them in dangerous territory.
Attraction and passion bring Andi to a place she left behind when her husband died. Her three-year-old son quickly wiggles his way into Cole’s heart, and he starts contemplating things—family, love—that he’d never planned for himself.
Can being forced to work together make them stronger or will their differences jeopardize their case and their hearts?
Excerpt:
“Goodnight, Cole.” Obviously, she didn’t want to talk to him about anything, let alone his overdue apology.
“So, that’s it? You’re not going to accept my apology?”
“Not tonight. I’m tired, and we have a long day tomorrow.” She turned to go.
“Andi, wait.” Why was he calling her back? He could respect that she was still upset with him—she had every right to be. He’d gone a bit overboard with some of the things he’d said.
Keeping Cass’ phone call from her had been unnecessary from the start. He hadn’t needed to carry it on in the car after they’d left the warehouse. It’d only served to get her so pissed off at him she’d barely uttered a word all day. So much for getting somewhere on the case.
Andi glanced over her shoulder and Cole grabbed her wrist. He yanked her into his arms and covered her mouth with his.
He hadn’t intended to kiss her but as her soft, warm lips caressed his, Cole couldn’t have changed his mind even if he’d wanted to. Her curves hit his chest with enough impact that should have jarred him back into his head, but he was lost and overheated immediately. He wrapped her in a tight embrace and kissed her harder.
She fought him, but his mouth was demanding over hers, and Andi opened for him, melting against him, surrendering to him. She slipped her arms around his neck and Cole bit back a groan. Her taste, sweeter than he’d imagined, was like ripe berries. He needed more.
Andi whimpered against his mouth, her tongue dancing with his. His cock stood at attention, straining against his zipper. He moaned as her body melded to his, breasts to chest, hips to hips. Cole had to have her.
As he walked them back towards the couch, she pushed hard against his chest, breaking the kiss and shoving him away from her. They both panted hard.
“Don’t…don’t ever do that…again,” she stammered, the gorgeous swell of her breasts lifting and pulling her shirt taut as her chest heaved. He could see peaked nipples. His erection throbbed and he struggled for coherent thought.
Cole dragged his gaze to her face. Blue eyes wide, cheeks rosy, freckles noticeable, her lips swollen from his. Though she’d been appealing before, how she stood before him now blew that out of the water. She was gorgeous.
He needed to say something. Anything. Apologise? He wasn’t sorry in the least. Speechless just about covered it.
She trembled and rubbed her arm. It took all he was made of not to pull her back to him and kiss her again.
There was no chance to answer. Andi turned on her heel and fled down the hall, slipping into the room farthest away from the living room. She didn’t even pause to look at him as she slammed the door.
He winced. What the hell should he make of what had happened? He stared down the hallway for a moment, his heart pounding. Never in his life, not even when he was a teenager, had one kiss stirred him to the point that Andi’s had. Then she’d run from him. His body shook with unfulfilled need.
Cole couldn’t blame her, really. No way should he have given in to the urge to kiss her. But he had the sinking suspicion he would have to do it again—and more. He wouldn’t be able not to. And hell, she’d kissed him back.
The voice of reason chided that he didn’t get involved with women he worked with, but his cock certainly disagreed. He ignored them both and dragged his hand over his face. The morning would bring complications.
Cole sighed and glanced at the couch. It looked comfortable, but would he be able to sleep?
So now you have to Pre-Order it right now, RIGHT? Hehehe. Here's the link:
