Nepchune’s Noise Circus: Learning with Noise at Maker Faire Orlando

nepchune3 Chuck Stephens is an artist, musician, hardware hacker and small boat builder who specializes in the use of recycled, repurposed and salvaged materials. Exhibiting at Maker Faire Orlando as Nepchune’s Noise Circus, Chuck says noise circuits provided his Eureka! moment in electronics.

Pivena: A Raspberry Pi Laptop Inspired By Novena

WildCircuit’s Pivena laser-cut case with 7-inch LCD lid and plenty of storage for extra hardware. The Pivena is an open-source laser-cut wooden case with 3D printed plastic stand-offs and corner tie-ins.
It was inspired by the Novena open-hardware laptop from Sutajio Kosagi.

Makey Makey Monome

Jenna deBoisblanc’s MaKey MaKey Monome musical instrument. Artist uses a MaKey MaKey kit to design a touchscreen Monome (computer interface device) musical instrument.
The design features cardboard latticework with individual LEDs and copper overlays that generate music when touched.
