Edward R Hackemer lived in Western New York for 55 years before retiring from government service and moving to North Georgia; roughly halfway between Atlanta & North Carolina.
His college education was abbreviated by induction into the US Army in 1968. Ed's civilian employment history runs from paperboy, dishwasher, paper mill laborer, laboratory technician, warehouseman, and over-the-road truck driver. His life experience includes military, federal and county public service in addition to nearly countless trans-Atlantic trips. Ed earned an honorable discharge from the US Army, spent several years overseas, and is happily married. He met his wife in Europe, and upon relocation to the United States she became a

Cobble Tales

ENGLAND, 1814.
Using pen and ink by candlelight or oil lamp, either in Sussex, Surrey, or Kent, J. Rutherford Pendragon described life as he lived it from boyhood and beyond. It was not only foot paths, dirt roads, or alleyways he traveled. From the country lanes of Cock Marling to the cobbled city streets of Maidstone, he chronicled legend, happiness, heartbreak, adventure, tragedy, and mystery ac Read more of this blog post »

“Author:
A common gadabout who freely wanders over the landscape with wanton disregard. His days are spent picking up all the stray free words he can handle and squirreling them away for later use.
Subsequently, (days, months or years later) working by candlelight and hidden away in his dank, musty secluded lair, the rogue simply rearranges the collected words on yellowed bond with a sharpened quill ink pen fashioned from the tail feather of a bald-headed vulture.
Once finished, the dastardly cur audaciously attempts to sell those assembled pages for fleeting fame and profit.”

Donna Mr. Hackemer:
I have also read all the Throckmorton stories and did love each and every one of them. You are a wonderful storyteller.

Thank you.

Donna Edward,
I sure wished I could win all of the Throckmorton series of books. I read Sangria Sunsets and got hooked. You are a very talented writer. Bless You.

Mkittysamom I watched Murder at the Vanities! I really liked it! I get why they say pre-code was more real and gritty now ;)
