Strong women in Fiction

I'm taking part in the Strong women in Fiction hop. Longtime readers know I love a strong heroine, Ripley, would be my top favorite. You can't get more badass than her. :) I was originally drawn to several other strong heroines: Sarra in Melanie Rawn's Ruins of Ambrai comes to mind; also Rowan, in (of course) The Rowan by Anne McCaffrey.  Anita Blake, (of Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita

A Hallowe’en Promise--Flash Fiction in the Reign of Tarot universe #new #Halloween2017

Here's something special for my readers for this Halloween. A new bit of flash fiction set in the Lady of the Tarot/Reign of Tarot universe! What can I say? I was inspired. A Hallowe’en Promise  (A Reign of Tarot addendum)  by Juli D. Revezzo  London, 1797 “Come to my lair And be my love And we will all the horrors prove That midnight screams And endless death Is nothing

Thrifty Shopping ideas for Samhain

I wanted to do a little something for Halloween, this year, but alas, I'm late. I haven't had time to decorate the castle, or get my fangs cleaned.... Certainly no time to cull everything for the spells me and the girls had planned to drop in the cauldron (joke).  What I did find was a friend suggested some nifty ideas for decorating for the holiday. From there, I found a few other

Would you rather be transported 500 years in the past, or 500 years into the future? #authorblog

Saw this set of prompts on Pinterest and this question caught my eye. Would you rather be transported 500 years in the past, or 500 years into the future? Oh boy! Well, if you've poked around any of my books at all, you know I have a thing for history. The 16th century was...well, I think it was awesome. Particularly in Italy, all the art floating around then. Wow. I would so love to

What lurks on that horizon?--Druid Warrior Prince snippet #2---Weekend Writing Warriors

I thought I'd continue on from where the snippet of my new historical fantasy romance, Druid Warrior Prince, left off in the last post left off. This is the next six lines: (Gwenevieve) set her jaw as she studied him. Who was this person to tell her what to do? On the other hand, she knew he spoke logic as her father did have his enemies. “Men know my family. If they’re smart, they

New release in Celtic Stewards Chronicles #historicalfantasy #romance

So, as you might've noticed from my previous post, I do have a new book available! Yes. It's true. The next in the Celtic Stewards Chronicles has been unleashed--er, released upon the world! :) What's this one about? Well, in a nutshell, it continues Stacy's introduction to her family history and their history with the war between gods and ...well, the Fomori monsters of which her family

New covers for the Celtic Stewards Chronicles series!

Because I thought it was time to give it a fresh look. Something a tad big more  "fantasy"and fitting this fantasy/historical fantasy/historical fantasy romance blended series than men with swords.  Druid Warrior's Heart: (Which I think is my favorite.Thank you Patty G. Henderson for helping me find the perfect mask!) Passion's Sacred Dance Because, Stacy's a bookworm!
