shuffle #5--new on the mp3 player this week #musictowriteby #music

Thought I 'd go ahead and type up a quick post this fine Saturday night.  A couple things came to mind. While flipping through channels, I ran across a band on PBS called Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds. Only caught a few of their songs but they sound quite bluesy, and their singer had a lot of gusto. Might check them out a bit more, if the chance permits. Their song Mama Knows, that on

Sunday Update, books. #amreading #amwriting #Sundayblogshare

Sunday Post was conceived by Kimberly at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This Sunday, in life and books. (because, what else is there?) There's some sort of sports thing going on tonight, but, *sheepish grin* we're more bookworms, around here. Reading: I've been busy with a new book (see below "On the Business Side") and between all that revising, formatting, and so forth, I've finished

In honor of Brighid... #imbolc

Brighid's Light by Juli D. Revezzo     See that little swatch of green knitting? I had hoped to knit a Brighid doll by now...ee-yeah. As you can see, it didn't work out. But My Lady is kind-hearted. She sent me a new story idea overnight. So, we're good. It's a little late, but we're still on the day, so....wishing you all Brighid's blessings this fine Imbolc! May you all have a

Anticipating spring

How's everyone doing today? I'm doing okay. Getting to work on another manuscript that needs revising, and meanwhile, watching our weather. Go ahead, I know you're going to envy me for this, but with the warm temperatures this (January) month, I'm really getting itchy to get back into my gardening. I have a plan, this year, to swap out some geraniums. See, I had these ones we inherited from my

Another week gone--Sunday blog post 16: #SundayBlogShare #weeklyrecap

Sunday Post was conceived by Kimberly at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. And I can't believe January is almost over.  How are y'all this fine Sunday? I'm doing fine. Got some stuff back from my editor last night that I hope to tackle this week. So, who knows what this week will look like except more reading, thinking, typing.  On the reading front, I'm about 3/4 of the way done with an audiobook

The pain in Emilie's eyes.... Lady of the Tarot #Gothicromance #18thcentury #8sunday #snippetsunday

Welcome to yet another Weekend Writing Warriors. I thought I'd share a few lines from my latest Gothic Romance with you this week's Weekend Writing Warriors. Enjoy! As the carriage driver tittered to the horses, the pain in Emilie’s lovely eyes echoed that in Linton’s heart. They exited the Maigny’s property as if hell chased them and Linton wondered, did hell’s invisible minions trail
