So this happened yesterday. I don't know if you can see it that well on the blog, but I was out helping hubby and friends cut up trees when I tripped and hit the ground. Reaching out to try to catch myself, I heard my right thumb go "pop!". It seems as if it dislocated, but popped right back in  and we didn't think it warranted a trip to the emergency room. Does it hurt? Oh yes! Don't
