Is it Impossible to Completely Get Over Someone?

Can you really not get over someone?

Can you really not get over someone? This was one of the questions we asked our Candy Cuties during their shoot. We've heard it from people and maybe, we've said it a few times too: for every new love, there's always someone we call The One That Got Away or our Great Love. These are people whom we still hold dear in our hearts even after they've left us or after we've left them, their shadows and memories looming over us even if we've already found someone new to be with us. We wonder, do guys think it's possible to not get over someone, too? Here are their thoughts:

6 DIY Gifts People Actually Want

Unless the people you love are all hoarders, nobody really wants candles, ballpens, or hand sanitizers. It's impersonal and uncreative, and those are the last things any Candy Girl should be this Christmas season. So grab those art supplies, because tonight, you're turning your bedroom into Manila's very own Santa's workshop.

From Our Readers: Everything About You and Me Is Impossible

How can I move on from the person who gave me so much to remember? Although I try my best to forget you, I can't do it. Because you were once the person who taught me what love felt like. Yes, you shattered my heart, but you're still the one who could make it whole again. For three years, my heart still yearns for you. For three years, my whole being still longs for your presence. And even though I pretend that I've moved on already, there was never a night that you didn't cross my mind.

Some nights I could sleep easily, while there are nights when I feel happy. But most nights, I think of you. Most nights, I cry for you. I think of the "us" that never happened and the memories we were about to share together. Now, I wonder. Was there ever a time that I crossed your mind too?

From Our Readers: To the Guy I'm Still Waiting For

As I was searching for old songs, I stumbled upon a Gavin Degraw song which perfectly explains my current situation. The lyrics go, "If you ask me what I'm doing, I would say I'm doing just fine. I would lie and say that you're not on my mind."

The song caught my attention and I remembered you. The mere thought of you suddenly gave me flashbacks, which I always try to avoid. Not that you're a bad memory, but because I hate regretting the decision I made. It's funny how a single song abruptly led me to reminiscence.

10 Tweets About #ThisIsNotTheEndOfOneDirection That Are Making Us Feel Emotional Today

One Direction

Today, One Direction had their last scheduled performance before their break on the X Factor stage. We have a lot of feelings because one, that's where they all started and two, because they can't even bring themselves to hug onstage after singing "History" with their photos of those five years together being flashed in the background—so when they finally did, we really felt emotional. God bless Niall for making us a laugh a bit during this part.

5 Ideas for a Cool Themed Party

 1  A Whole New World

Star Wars GIF

Travel to a galaxy far, far away and find out if the force is strong with your squad. Ask your friends to wear Star Wars-themed shirts or go all out with intergalactic costumes. For the entertainment, play DVDs of the six movies (remember to start with Episode IV to VI, and then go back to Episode I to III), hold lightsaber (or umbrella) duels, and have a contest to see who can best replicate Princess Leia's cinnamon hair buns. Complete the experience by catching Episode VII: The Force Awakens together in the theater!
