(2/2) Incredibly steamy piece of literature! You’re such a gifted author and I hope to see more of Levi and Dominic in the future!

LMAO! “It started out like a mature Hardy Boys and was full on Michael Bay movie by the end” is one of my absolute favorite ways anyone has ever described the SoS series. I’m so glad you enjoyed it, and thank you very much for sharing your thoughts with me along the way! :D

Soo I stayed up most of the night reading SoS and now I’m on Book 3. I really hope I finish soon because I have a couple things to do and your books are just too good to put down. Mainly I wanted to say that McBride seems super cool. The only thing I miss

Of course! I’d love to hear them. Just keep in mind that I can’t publish asks with spoilery details in them - you can send them, of course, but I can’t respond to them publicly. :-)

Patreon Bonus Feature

This month’s Patreon Bonus Feature is an audio commentary that looks back at the inspiration, planning, and structure of the first act of Kill Game, from the perspective of having finished the entire Seven of Spades series. I discuss what changed over the course of writing the series, what stayed faithful to my original vision, and other behind-the-scenes tidbits!

SPOILER WARNING for every book in the Seven of Spades series, including and most especially A Chip and a Chair.

A transcript is available for those who need or prefer it!

Hey, I just started reading SoS today and it’s been really good so far! I just can’t stop thinking about what an investment the Seven of Spades has made into their vigilantism because an entire deck full of the seven of spades? That took fifty-four decks a

Oh boy - if you think that’s a lot, just you wait! The Seven of Spades redefines the term “extra”. ;-)

Also, this made me think concretely about how many decks of cards the SoS went through over the length of their career - even setting aside the “gift” they made for Dominic, they left a seven of spades card on every single victim. What did they do with all of those leftover cards?!? I’m thinking some kind of combination of shredding + burning, haha.

I’m so glad you’re enjoying the series so far!

Part 1: Hi Cordelia! I don't want to inconveniences you, but I have a bit of a favor to ask you... I've been one of your Patreons for over a year now, but for the last 6 months, I've been having a hard time reading any of your additional context because I

Part2: I can zoom in and move left to right, but it is slow and head-ach-inducing. I thought there was nothing to be done, but I recently found out it is related to the documents’ format: they are still in “Microsoft Word” format, as indicated by the “W”. You can easily convert it to “Google Docs” format on the drive, which would allow it to be properly displayed across platforms. I would be inmensly greatfull if you could do that for future docs (thought I wouldn’t complain if you do past too)

I’ll definitely try that with the bonus feature I’m posting today! If it works well, I can’t guarantee if/when I’d have the time to convert past documents, but I’ll certainly continue with all future ones. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi Cordelia! May I know who Angel is? For some reason, I couldn't remember him even though I've read the whole SoS series just this month.

Don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong with your memory! The Ángel that anon was referring to is one of the protagonists of my book Can’t Hide From Me. :-)

Hello, Cordelia! Congratulations on your amazing SoS series coming to an end! There has been talk of spin-off stories about side characters - you mentioned that there is a Volkov/Rocco story in the works. Would you consider side stories about Jay Sawyer (I

Thank you so much! Yes, I do have the beginnings of a Rocco/Volkov story - either a short story or novella, I’m not sure, because I don’t have a good idea of how long it’d be yet.

I don’t have any plans or ideas for other SoS-releated stories right now, though. As much as I love that world and its characters with all of my heart, I wrote over 400,000 words in that sandbox in about 2.5 years, so I need a little break from it. ;-)

Hi Cordelia. Really loved the Seven of Spades series. I was one of those who couldn't bear to read book 3 until the final ones were out, so I read book 1, then waited... And it was hard! Thank you for the final book - rather crazy at times, and definit

Thank you very much! That’s really kind. I still haven’t made any concrete decisions on what to work on next - right now I’m catching up on Patreon content that I fell behind on during the run-up to A Chip and a Chair’s release - but I’ll certainly share the news when I do!

Website + Logo!

At long last, I have a professional website and logo!

The logo was designed by the fabulously talented Natasha Snow

And the website, which was inspired by the logo, was created by LightUp Designs: ckingsbridge.com.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with how everything turned out, and I highly recommend both professionals!
