A tease from book 2 - The Colonial
Aiden entered a small courtyard. There were no exterior lights here but he could see just fine. Lying in the back corner of the courtyard was a woman. Aiden stopped to listen. He heard the steady beat of her heart but breathing was shallow. He walked up next to her. Despite the bruising and swelling of her face, she was lovely. Her dress was ripped and her panties lay discarded on the ground.
A memory crept up from Aiden’s subconscious and blindsided him. It was the memory of the letter that he received from Emeline informing him of Abigail’s death. He had not been a witness to the aftermath of Abigail’s beating but was pretty sure she looked just like the woman lying here. The thought made his heart ache.
Aiden leaned down and spoke gently, “Miss, can you hear me?” There was no response. He tried one more time, “Miss, I’m going to pick you up and take you to the hospital.” Still the woman did not respond.
He gently picked her up cradling her like a baby against his chest. She was definitely smaller than she looked. He stood up and turned to walk back down the drive when the woman in his arms spoke, “Aiden…” she whispered.
Stunned, Aiden stopped. He looked down at the woman in his arms. He was positive that they had never met before. He leaned into her neck and sniffed. Underneath the blood was the smallest hint of another scent… cinnamon.
Aiden rocked back on his heels and almost fell over. After 140 years Abigail had finally returned.

A sneek peak at my new book Butterfly...
The music ended and Bishop took Avirea’s hand and escorted her off the dance floor to where Marsters now stood. Marsters smiled and kissed Avirea’s hand in greeting. “You look stunning my dear.”
Avirea grinned, “Thank you James. You don’t look so bad yourself.”
He shrugged, “I try.”
Avirea walked around him in a circle as if inspecting him, “Actually James there is something missing from your ensemble tonight.”
“And what might that be?” he asked amused.
Avirea grinned, “Arm candy.”
Bishop smiled trying to contain his laughter.
“What the hell are you talking about?” he asked.
Michelle chose that second to join the group. She ran her hand across Marsters back from one shoulder to the other. She looked quite sexy in her black and white dress. Her hair was piled up on top of her head and her blue eyes sparkled mischievously. Marsters chin hit the floor as he took her all in.
Avirea grinned, “Mischief, I’d like you to meet Nymph. You’re arm candy for the evening.”
Marsters mouth went dry at the sheer sight of her but he quickly recovered kissing her hand, “Good evening beautiful lady.”
Michelle laughed a sexy throaty laugh, “Good evening Mischief.”
Michelle tucked herself into Marsters side as he wrapped his arm around her waist. She placed on arm across his shoulder and ran a finger across his bottom lip. Marsters grinned at her, “See something you want sweetheart?”
“You better believe it,” Michelle purred.

A tease from book 3 in the Curse Breakers Series
Damien grabbed my arm again and turned my wrist around so he could see it. The skin was pale and smooth. Not a single mark to be seen. “I don’t understand,” he said, “why didn’t it work?”
I laughed, “Because I was not meant for you.”
Damien’s eyes flashed with anger, “You’ve been marked?”
I grinned, “Yup. Micah is my husband.”
Damien howled with rage and the next thing I knew I was on the ground and my face stung badly. I reached up to wipe my mouth with the back of my hand and came away with the blood on it. I looked up at Damien stunned. I had never been hit before.
Damien turned to the two brown wolves, “Rocco, Jude, take Nahemana back to the house.” He smirked, “Do what you want with her until I figure out how to turn this to our favor.”
I gasped.
“And when they’re done, the rest of you can have your fill as well,” he said smugly.
“No! Damien don’t do this!” I begged.
Damien turned and walked away from me leaving me in the company of recently changed and completely naked Rocco and Jude. I tried to get up and run but they were too fast for me. They each grabbed an arm and hauled me kicking and screaming back to the house I had just run from.

Excerpt from The Gypsy's Dance
Here is a little taste of my next stand alone novel...
The time had finally come for the annual matching celebration. Oralia had been dreading this day for the last six months.
It was six months ago that Oralia’s parents, Patrick and Efanie, had sat her down to inform her that they finally decided it was time she married. Having only turned eighteen two weeks prior Oralia wa...s mortified. She had no desire to marry, much less with any of the men from her clan. It’s true there were a few that were pleasant to look at but for the most part her options were limited and it’s not like she got a choice in the matter. Her parents would make the arrangements prior to the celebration then hand her over like some gift wrapped prize to be won after the celebratory dance was completed. The wedding itself would take a place sometime within the month following the celebration.
The entire process disgusted Oralia. She considered herself a free spirit and had no desire to settle down. She wanted to step out and see the world, to experience new things, meet new people and have the opportunity to choose for herself whom she wanted to love.
Life at times could be so unfair.
