Since my childhood; writing books about the woodland fairies, I have dreamed about writing books as an adult. I took a correspondence writing course and studied writing in classes during my career as a teacher. Recently, I read and applied what I learned from books on writing fiction, to my first historical fiction novel, Ermentrude's Knot. I was inspired to write this book after doing much research into my ancestry.

The ideas flowed out of me, and when I needed inspiration for an event, I looked into my mounds of research on the history of the people who lived during the Late Classic Age.
