2020
Okay, here comes the part where we all either bitch about what a shit year it was or gloat about how we did alright despite the fact, but I've neither the interest nor the energy to rehash any part of what went on these past twelve months, so I'll just stick to publishing instead.
As usual, I edited the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter issues of HST Quarterly. Lots of strong work from authors old and new!
In addition to these regular releases, HST saw a banner year with other publications as well, including Stray Dogs and Deuces Wild: Cautionary Tales by Judge Santiago Burdon, Always More: New & Selected Poems by John D Robinson, Adult Nature by Matthew Licht, Pour the Whiskey Over My Heart and Set It On Fire by Bogdan Dragos, Everything Dissolves by Hank Kirton, The Underground Movie Poems by Peter Magliocco, and Horror Sleaze Trash: 10th Anniversary Edition by Ben John Smith.
That's a lot more than we usually manage to publish per annum. I guess you could say I've had a fair amount of time on my hands lately...
Anyway, still think 2020 was a doozy? WELL GUESS WHAT IT NEVER ENDS.
2021, here we come!

Always More, By John D Robinson
NOW AVAILABLEHorror Sleaze Trash proudly presents the poems of John D Robinson.
“These are survivor poems, battle scarred verse that hits the soul and assaults the frontal lobe. Here is a poet who has lived several lives and emerged on the other side intact.”
—Joseph Ridgwell, author of Burrito Deluxe
“This book is not decorative art. This book is not the exercise of the commercial artisan. This book is stripped of 21st century consumer bullshit. This book is a way in to what matters. Get ready. It is going to hurt. And you will love it.”
—Henry Stanton, UnCollected Press

Adult Nature, By Matthew Licht
NOW AVAILABLE"Matthew Licht has a dirty mind, a dirty keyboard, and the very best intentions. His literary world is a place of sleaze and trash, religious sex cults, talking anuses, melancholy strippers and monkish opium smokers, sex in toilets, and voyeurism in the back of limos. And yet there’s also a genuine warmth and decency in his writing and in his view of the world. It’s an interesting contradiction. Or maybe it’s no contradiction at all."
—Geoff Nicholson, author of Still-Life with Volkswagens
