Any other indie authors out there ever do a "phantom" promotion? Just offer your work for free on Amazon Kindle for a day with zero promotion? I just did, and had 1,196 downloads!
The targeted release date of YESTERDAY'S RIVER has been pushed back. After frenetically getting all of the work done to bring THE WIZARD MURDERS and now CALL ME ISMAY to paperback, the project has suffered a bit and it simply is not ready. I was hellbent on a Fall release, but it simply is not going to happen and instead has been pushed back to January or February. This way I can make it the best that it can possibly be.
In the next few days, I hope to have locked down as many beta-readers as possible for my next novel, YESTERDAY'S RIVER.
Since this is an emotionally rich piece of work, I'm going to be asking them to do an awful lot of hard work when it comes to studying and providing feedback; I can assure anyone with an open mind that they will find the job a challenging but very rewarding one.
Join the 471 people who have downloaded at least one of my books for free this week!
My short story THE VELVET SOFA, my crime fiction novella THE WIZARD MURDERS, and my full-length novel CALL ME ISMAY are available for free (as we speak) on Amazon Kindle.
