The Zetas in Dallas/FTW Part One

Prostitution and human smuggling/trafficking are a multi-million dollar business for the Zetas and they rule the two in Dallas/FTW. Their reach is as far as China and Thailand as they have alliances with the mafias there as well. It only makes sense. They've been working together with opium and meth for several years, and the Zetas have a human smuggling ring that is complex and high-tech. They cross people illegally into the United States literally from all over the world using the same network they have had set up for smuggling Mexicans and South Americans for years, and at a much higher cost. Opium and ingredients for meth are openly traded for safe passage to the United States as well. Safe houses are set up al over the Dallas metro area, and massage parlors are used as housing as well as a place where girls can work off their debt to the cartels. The massage parlors are afforded protection by the Zetas as well, something I can attest to when they nearly caught me while taking pictures of some of the facilities. Part Two will go into some specifics of some of the parlors on Royal Ln in Dallas.

Dallas is ruled by the Mexican Mafias

Drugs, prostitution, pirating and the smuggling of humans are the biggest illicit money-makers in Dallas, and they are clearly run by the Mexican mafias that are here. Over the next few weeks I will post some reports, and some pictures, of the different "businesses" in Dallas and will go into who controls what. I know, I can't seem to stay out of trouble.

Juarez-a haven for serial killers

"Juarez is the haven for serial killers..." - my source that still runs the streets of downtown Juarez told me today. We were talking about a young lady that was arrested for public intoxication (agua celeste, a solvent used in the leather industry) that was arrested by the police and just hours later was found strangled at the Chamizal (large city park in Juarez). The girl was known to have been a prostitute on a set of roads in downtown Juarez that is known to be a place to "get underage women". My source says that anyone could have picked her up there and that it is common to go to the city park for the sexual acts. There are so many young women that disappear in Juarez, so many crimes, there is little hope that this, or even a few of the other homicides will be solved, making Juarez a "haven for serial killers". http://puentelibre.mx/_notas/Causa-al...

Free Kindle Books

When I was researching for THE PLAZA, I was abducted by the Federal police, tortured and released. I spent several years immersed in the drug war, hanging out with narcos, journalists and even sicarios (assassins). Even if I had not done all of this, I still would not put the Kindle version of THE PLAZA for free.
Besides my life being on the line to write the book, it is still on the line because it is published and talks about the mafia. But even if that was not so, I would not give it away.
I spent over a year writing it, at 0430 in the morning, between work and family, rewriting, and then spent money to have it edited. I have spent money to get publicity for it. I have spent money on copies to distribute to fans and critics.
Please do not be offended, authors who do give away their work, or readers who wait to get them free, I understand the economy is awful and everyone saves where they can.
But I cannot justify giving the ebook away. It has been a personal investment of time and money that I cannot replace, not without sales. Please do not judge me; I did not write THE PLAZA for money, I wrote it because there are awful things that go on every day that my family and I lived personally and it needed to be written. But I would like to be able to continue writing, hopefully full time one day. Also, I have a dream that one day THE PLAZA will sell strongly enough to where I can actually donate money to orphanages in Juarez. The drug war there has left many, many orphans. These are things I cannot do without you, the reader, supporting THE PLAZA, and buying it, of course. I thank all of you, in advance, for your reviews, word of mouth support, and for taking the time to read my book.
