Good All Over and The Light of the Village

This story is too amazing for even a fiction writer to have made up. Four years ago, through our alumni connection in Facebook, John Eads, founder of the Light of the Village mission in Prichard, Alabama, read my book, The Plaza (about the drug war in Mexico, particularly in Juarez). He was inspired through the kids at the church to begin a mission in Juarez. Since then, every year they have go... Read more of this blog post »

Guillermo Paxton Hello goodreads friends, please vote for my book on this bookshelf should you feel it is worthy, thanks! http://www.goodreads.com/list/user_vo...

Guillermo Paxton Hello Goodreads friends. A portion of every copy of THE PLAZA sold will be donated to an ophanage in Juarez, Mexico. Thousands of orphans have been left in the wake of the drug war in Mexico, and I'd like to give something back to them. Help me help them by buying THE PLAZA and by sharing it with your friends. The reviews are for the most part very good. This book is gritty and violent; it is based on all real events. It was at times very hard to write, but was even harder to live, and I realize that it is not for everyone. But if you as a reader enjoy gritty, dark reads, buy a Kindle, Nook or paperback copy and know that you will be doing some good with it as well.
