Electronics fail

Currently wanting to ring the neck of my desktop computer. I’ve been working on my laptop and forgot just how much faster it worked compared to the desktop. On top of that, I have to update Office Word, and my OneDrive is syncing so that is limiting what I can do. I can’t access my Word program save for the minor features. I need the ones I can’t access to work on The Culling Cycle, and my OneDrive holds the files I need. I can open the latest file for what I need, but the syncing is slowing...

Well, at least they found out something

Today Stefan and Mila had the moment below. Really enjoyed this. They did get a lot of information revealed to them which helped them. Stefan showed himself to the town as the King of the Lycaens, and the way he takes his responsibility for that to heart. It was just a brief moment, really, but I liked that it came about. Because often in these stories, those every day moments don’t come up. Those tiny things which we often overlook (as a writer and a reader) but that really bring the story t...

Just more from yesterday

It was mostly a continuation of yesterday’s scene. I went back and filled in more because I like a certain number of pages per Word chapter, and I know when a scene has ended by the feel of that part of the story if that makes sense.

So there isn’t much to really say. Mila passed out because of the vision she had. It was that powerful, but also from the intensity of the creature she saw.

Now back to The Culling Cycle.

Just made this image quote for my Facebook Page. You’re welcome to steal if...

Don’t mess with the Enchantress please

Bianca, now why would you give her attitude? I get it. Mila comes across as very gentle and sweet. Downright demure and mannerly. She is used to simply accepting people as they are, allowing things to go, and not fighting.

But.

You don’t underestimate and take the enchantress for granted. Because then this little seer is going to show you strength comes from her gentle nature. Mila isn’t brash. She doesn’t scream “look at me!” for attention. Keeps to herself most of the time. She looks after...

Lunch fit for a Lycaen

Stefan and Mila are having themselves some lunch. I’m not going to write too much as not much has happened and I’m behind and wanting to get into my editing.

If you feel inclined to come LIKE my page and get some daily fun posts and questions, I wanted to let you know that I republished my Facebook page recently. I was led to trying to build it up again. Long ago I did have a page on Facebook, but without going into the long story, I was blocked from ever changing the name and using certain f...

Well, that was intense

Listening to this great song right now. Recently found it. Loving it.

Woke up early this morning two different times. First was around 4-5 am and I couldn’t get back to sleep. Didn’t help that I felt like I was slowly beginning to burn in an inferno. Not even kidding. I was all great, then the temperature in the body began to go up and up and up. Like a hot flash, but no sweating and nothing else. Then my mind wouldn’t turn off so I got up to use the bathroom and that was enough to get my bo...

And she figures out why she’s really afraid

Featured image is my boy, Kona. I captured that last night. I didn’t know I did until after. That’s the look of his love for me. Can’t even explain how that look makes me feel. The bond I have with that dog is soul mate love. Purest, most perfect, love. Different than any animal I’ve ever had. ♥ ♥ ♥

Mila and Stefan have been wandering through Kylarra and Verrick’s home, completely abandoned. Next they’ll be going down into Lycaen Ridge to find out what happened, and where the two of them disapp...

What have they discovered?

Not only did Stefan and Mila show up on Verrick and Ky’s doorstep but they’ve noticed a difference with Lycaen Ridge. There is a quietness that isn’t usually found there. So what are they about to find out?

Lycaen Ridge – where Verrick rules, Kylarra calls home

Welcome to Lycaen Ridge
Population: 501 500

Where Verrick and Kylarra call home. This is the place we first meet Kylarra and Verrick in Blood By Night

Lycaen Ridge is a fairly quiet mountain town, with quaint homes and interesting characters. I’ve been considering delving into the residents to sneak a peak behind the closed doors and see what exactly they are up to, who they are, and why some humans would choose to move in there.

The majority of the residents who live in and/or around Lycae...
