THINGS PEOPLE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE TITANIC
THERE ARE A LOT OF INTERESTING FACTS THAT PEOPLE DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THE TITANIC. For example:
1. It cost 7.5 million to build in 1912. Today's cost would be in excess of $400 million dollars
2. Only 306 bodies were actually recovered
3. When Titanic set sail there were 40,000 eggs, 75,000 lbs of fresh meat, 1000 bottles of wine, 11,000 lbs of fresh fish
