Dayton is a software developer, having become a slave to Corporate America after spending eleven years in the U.S. Marine Corps. When asked, he’ll tell you that he left home and joined the military soon after high school because he’d grown tired of people telling him what to do all the time.

Why?

Okay,

In response to Linda's questions in the first blog entry, and using them as a guide, I'll attempt to offer some insight into why I do what I do:

Status on current projects: At present, I have a couple of balls in the air. First, I'm working with my co-writer, Kevin Dilmore, to wrap up a Star Trek novella which will be published next year.

You're welcome. Spock was one of my favorite Star Trek characters, and I loved Sarek, but Scotty will always be my favorite of the Star Trek characters. Have a great day.

Thank you much for "friending" me. I've loved Star Trek since the 60s, and Scotty was always my favorite. Also thank you so much for your service in the Marines. My last foster uncle had been one, and served in Iwo Jima. I never asked him about it, but he did show me his purple heart...I still miss him.
