Saint Joseph, the worker by Pilar
Thank you very much Pilar for this video. Today I will be celebrating with my friends and 24 readers from my social communities (selected on the first come/first served basis) my patron saint, Saint Joseph. We will have a dinner, music, dance, but we will also pray for the sake of the world. This is the English prayer (we will have it in four different languages) that we will pray together at 10:30 PM:
Glorious St. Joseph, model of all who are devoted to labor,
obtain for me the grace to work con

The dead man who wore pajamas - Part 1
Paulo Coelho
I remember reading a piece of news on the Internet that a man was found dead in Tokyo on 10 June 2004, dressed in his pajamas.
So what? I imagine that most people who die wearing their pajamas either a) died in their sleep, which is a blessing, or b) were in the company of their relatives or on a hospital bed – death did not come quickly, so they all had time to grow used to “the undesirable one,” as Brazilian poet Manuel Bandeira called it.
The news goes on: when he died, he was in

Today’s Question by the reader : Kelly from Myspace
Your blog yesterday has me thinking and wondering about something…it mentions men closing their eyes to major travesties around the world and some others that are less major, but no less important…and it is true that warriors of light never/should never accept what is unacceptable.
Tell me…should this apply to our own individual battles? To injustice done to ourselves? How do we know when to fight against this injustice, to fight for our truth, and when we should just let them win, walk away beat

Your opinion on: Prayer by Paulo Coelho
Do you believe prayer can change this world?
I heard of a fantastic experience in Africa and this week we will pray together with my friends and readers for the Saint Joseph’s Party on March 19th.
We will pray to help to improve the state of the world. Some believe that prayer is too abstract – but I would like to hear your opinion on this.
Thank you

Dear Mr. Coelho
Dear Mr. Coelho,
As an international human rights and sustainable development lawyer, I once thought of entering the peace corps but did not. Learning today that a peace corps volunteer in West Africa had been killed, I wanted to honor her in whatever way I could, simply by acknowledging her life and work there. In a photo stream she posted online of the items she brought with her for two years in Benin, I saw a small stack of three or four books. “The Alchemist” was on the top. As your words hav
