How do you know you're in love with a person?

For me it’s like this: You’re always really happy to see them. Even when you’re angry or upset or tired, even if they’ve made you feel that way seeing them makes you feel like something right is happening. You do your best to look after them, if that’s pulling the duvet cover over their shoulders when they’re asleep or caring for them when they’re poorly. It’s when you want to touch them all the time and not always sexually but just because their skin is soft or their shoulder feels nice under your mouth or that the train of their belly hair makes you a little bit giddy. It’s very frustrating and kind and warm.
