A Day of 150 Emails One Author’s Mission

Today, I did something big. I spent hours literally all day emailing nearly 150 bookstores, libraries, newspapers, and media outlets across the country. From North Carolina to California, New York to Florida, I introduced myself and shared two books that mean the world to me:

📖 Signs from the Spirit – a memoir inspired by real spiritual signs after loss.
📘 The Sign of Victoria – a psychological thriller set in a haunted mansion where only one student survives.

Why did I do this? Because I believe in stories. And I believe in my readers. I’m not a big publishing company or a celebrity with a team. I’m just one woman a Lumbee author, a Deaf storyteller, and a mother trying to get my work into the hands of those who need it.

This journey isn’t easy. But it’s real.

If you’re reading this and you’re a bookstore, a reviewer, or a supporter of indie authors, thank you. Your time, your reply even just your curiosity means everything.

Here’s to the next chapter,
