A Full-Circle Moment My Books Join Gallaudet’s Deaf Collections

Today I mailed something deeply personal:
Signed copies of Signs from the Spirit and my heart and soul in book form are on their way to Gallaudet University Library to be added to their official Deaf Collections.

As a Deaf and Lumbee author, and a proud studies at Model Secondary School for the Deaf, this is more than just a donation.

Special thanks to Noah Beckman, Deaf Collections Librarian, for welcoming my stories into a space that shaped my own. These books now join the shelves of history and memory where Deaf voices, culture, and storytelling live on.

I created Silent Feather Press to make sure our voices are never forgotten.
And now, they’re exactly where they belong.

Big News: Featured in BookLife Project News!

I’m honored to share that both of my books —
Signs from the Spirit Signs From The Spirit and The Sign of Victoria The Sign of Victoria: A Supernatural Thriller
have officially been featured in BookLife Project News by Publishers Weekly!

This means so much to me, not just as an indie author, but as a Lumbee and Deaf writer who has poured heart, truth, and healing into these pages.

✨ Signs from the Spirit reflects grief, spiritual signs, and deep personal love for my father.
👁 The Sign of Victoria is a supernatural thriller grounded in fear, survival, and the truth that not everyone makes it out.

I never imagined that both would land on an industry-recognized platform but here we are.

Thank you to everyone who’s believed in me, supported my work, and walked with me on this journey.

Let this be a reminder:
Your story matters. Your voice matters.
And someone out there is watching even when it feels like no one is.
