INTRODUCING VIKING IT IS
UFF DA!! The third installment in my Will Nickerson Mysteries Series is now published on Kindle and Nook, for the same great price of 2.99 as my first two e-books. The title is VIKING IT IS, and it will take you to the North Dakota community of New Oslo, which is digging into its Scandinavian roots. Did Vikings make it this far west in Medieval times? Meanwhile, an enigmatic and obnoxious stranger comes to town and vanishes without a trace. Is it murder---or what? And is there a connection to the archaeological dig? It adds up to a brand new mystery for North Dakota's amateur sleuth Will Nickerson to solve. This time he teams up with a beautiful but also enigmatic traveling sales woman, Alison Parshall, to look for answers. VIKING IT IS is packed with lots of twists and turns, surprises and subplots to keep the reader in suspense till the very end.

This book, which is set in and around the fictional town of New Oslo, North Dakota, is nearing completion and I plan to have it online as an Amazon Kindle e-book sometime this fall. I am still in the process of selecting a title!! That is proving to be the most difficult of all the steps that have gone into the writing of the book. Stay tuned...

NEW MYSTERY SERIES CELEBRATES RURAL AMERICA ON KINDLE
Hello! Allow me to introduce myself, R.L. Anderson, and my new Will Nickerson Mysteries series, which is published exclusively on Amazon Kindle. Rural and small town America and the great outdoors are the settings for my new whodunit series. Meet Will Nickerson, a small town shopkeeper turned amateur detective in the fictional farming and ranching community of New Oslo, North Dakota. In Ranch Park, my first novel, he finds himself teamed up with summer camp counselor Jenine Mescall seeking clues when a theme park staff member is found murdered. My second novel, It's a Place for Trees, takes Will on a road trip to PA, where once again he finds himself surrounded by mystery, this time at an arboretum nestled in the Allegheny Mts. These are light and breezy mysteries, with a touch of romance, and lots of action and suspense, and although I have adult readers in mind, the language is clean. I am writing for adults who, like me, don't need their fiction laced with 4 letter words in order to enjoy a good entertaining read. My novels are for those whose hearts are in the country. They sell for 2.99 on Kindle, and you don't need a Kindle to read them. Kindle e-books are readable on any computer or smartphone equipped with the free Kindle Reading App.
