You Should Definitely Watch This Video
It’s been a month since I released the second story in the Silentsomnia universe, The Flayed, and I just want to say how grateful I am for this amazing community. It’s incredible how this place connects me with such kind and open-minded people who sincerely share their thoughts and feelings about the stories I create. Every message and review means a lot.
Today, one of my new friends here, Ellie, made a wonderful video review on her YouTube channel, talking about The Flayed and Getaway Lodge: 14th Floor. I really enjoyed watching it; honestly, I listened as if I hadn’t written these stories myself. It’s thoughtful, engaging, and full of genuine passion for storytelling.
So I warmly invite you to check out her video and subscribe, she creates a lot of great content for book lovers:

The Stairway to the 14th Floor
Getaway Lodge: 14th Floor was the very first story I decided to publish in the Silentsomnia universe, and not by accident. At first it might seem like a small piece, just a short glimpse that can’t show the whole scale of what’s behind it. And that’s true. It’s just a fragment, but through it you can already feel the tone, the atmosphere, the strange breath of this world.
The idea for it came to me years ago. I actually wrote the very first draft about five or six years back, and since then I kept carrying it with me, rewriting little bits, rethinking details. For a long time I didn’t dare to publish it. Putting something out there, saying “this is mine”… it’s scary, especially when you look around and see how many amazing writers are already out in the world. I kept asking myself: is there room for me?
In the end, I was told once: “You’re doing good, give it a shot.” I’m glad I did, because this story became not just my first publication, but also the first brick in what I hope will grow into a much larger universe.
Since then I’ve received different kinds of feedback. Some readers connected with the story, felt the emotions, even recognized something of themselves in it. Others had criticism, and I value that too. It helps me understand what people are looking for, what’s missing, and how I can get better.
So thank you to everyone who read it, who shared their thoughts, who spent a little time in this strange corner of my world. It really means a lot.
And this is just the beginning! More stories and characters are waiting, and little by little we’ll be diving deeper into a world where mystery and drama twist together into something haunting.
