Something's missing
I don't know if you've noticed, but Lesson Learned has disappeared from the book shelves of all the normal retailers.
Basically I got my rights back from Ellora's Cave in mid December. Getting this book back out on sale is one of my solid plans for 2016.
So for now Nathan and Drew will be taking a break but I promise they will definitely be returning under my own Finally Love Press imprint.
Hopefully this time their story will have a cover that actually has a connection to the story!...

Rainbow Snippet - 23/24 Jan

Rainbow Snippets is a Facebook Group that invites authors to post 6 sentences of their work each weekend. It can be from anything you like, your current WIP, a recent release, the golden oldie that even you had forgotten you had written, or just a scrap of an idea (as long as it has 6 coherent sentences). Nothing of your own work worth mentioning? How about a 6 sentence review of your favourite LGBTQ+ story.
My six lines last week came from my current WIP, Resistance. Today I thought I'd dip i...

Fiction Friday - Festive edition
Christmas, a time of good cheer and plenty of feel good books to read.
I had a long list of books I wanted to get to this year but I didn't manage even half of them. In fact there were some that I was really looking forward to that never got opened and a huge pile from last year (2014) that still never got read. But I did read some excellent stories with the warm and fuzzies galore.
Winter Wonderland (Minnesota Christmas #3) by Heidi Cullinan. One of most eagerly anticipated books of the year....

With a Kick Wednesday - A Fiction Friday post for the hump day
With a Kick is a series of novellas/novels set in London and alternately written by Clare London and Sue Brown.
I read the first of these stories, A Twist and Two Balls by Clare London, at the end of November and promptly fell in love. With the idea, with the ice cream shop, with the secondary characters, and most importantly with the MCs, especially Nuri.
I moved on to read Nice and Snow in December. That meant jumping out of order but the story dealt with the same two MCs as in ATTB and if an...

Happy Birthday Clare London
Today I'm over at Clare London's taking part in her birthday blog party.
I'm talking about 'The End'. Sound dramatic, eh?
Check it out and see if I'm making any sense at all.
But it's not just me, there are some amazing posts by all your favourite authors. Clare has complied a handy round-up guide here with links to the individual posts for ease of use.

Fiction Friday
Yep, this is going to take some doing, I've just looked back and my last Fiction Friday was put up on 6th November. Two months worth of reading!
So, first up, I kinda stalled on 'Loving Luki Vasquez'. When I put this down at the end of November I left it with this status update: "I'm reading this a scene or so at a time. It's a beautifully written story but I'm struggling with how much time and reference Luki gives to smoking and how he almost implies Sonny makes him smoke more! But that aside...

Another 4.5 star review for New Lease of Life
this time from Divine Magazine.
"New Lease of Life is a story about a young man losing his way when something unexpected happens to change his self-perception. ... Lillian Francis has dealt with this issue compassionately in New Lease of Life, as we watch the journey one man takes to learn to like, and then love himself, again, with the help of his special someone."
"I absolutely loved New Lease of Life. It's a feel good story that will touch your heart and keep you riveted to the very end...

4.5 star review for New Lease of Life
An excellent review from MelanieM over at scattered thoughts and rogue words. "Once again, Lillian Francis has written a story and characters guaranteed to capture your heart."
"This is a story to treasure and Lillian Francis an author to put on autobuy. This is just so well written, its entertaining and just such a lovely romance. I so highly recommend them both. Make it your New Year’s resolution to seek them both out and find out why!"

Bip, Bip, Bip... Oops, I appear to have dropped off the radar
By micadew from US (Happy New Year 2016) [CC BY-SA 2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b...)], via Wikimedia CommonsFirstly, a very belated Happy New Year to you all.
Sorry I've not been around much for the first couple of weeks of the year. Hopefully I can make up for that over the next few weeks.
What had me distracted from blogging?
Well, to be honest, I think I was all blogged out from my A- Z of Christmas. That was an exhausting feat for me, researching and writing 25 blog p...
