Fiction Friday
It's been a while since I've done one of these so I had to go back and see where I'd got to. in my recommendations. When I finished the ABC challenge I said I'd be going on to author's attending the UK Meet this year.
I started with a UK Meet author but not one I needed to read for the challenge as I have read plenty of her previous work. But I've been waiting for this story since I read A Twist and Two Balls and the rest of the series.

Puffless
I've been fairly quiet on the blogging front.
I blame campnano.
I've worked out that when I put myself under the pressure of aiming for a monthly target and attempting to get words down every day, then other things have to suffer. Unfortunately the first thing that goes is the blogging.
I try not to feel guilty about this. I know I can't reasonably do everything that I want to. But trying to switch off that guilty worry that you're not doing enough is harder than you’d think. Everywhere yo...

Blogging away from home
I'm blogging over at Amy Lane's today talking about what inspired Lovers Entwined and how that story could have been called something else.

Senses working overtime - RJ's Autism Blog Hop
"If you are hypersensitive to touch, you dislike having anything on your hands or feet, and may have difficulties brushing and washing your hair because your head is sensitive. Only certain types of clothing or textures are comfortable."
This year on RJ's Autism Blog Hop the theme is senses. Thanks Rj (or should I blame Janet, her harried assistant) 'cos every time I think about writing this post I get this song on repeat in my head. (Not that I'm complaining, I loved this song back in the day...

Fiction Friday - The ABC challenge
You know me and my varied methods for choosing what book to read. This month it's the alphabet, and not just that but the first unread book in each letter that appears on my paperwhite (Kindle 2). Because it's an alphabet challenge I'm going to list all books read:good, bad, or indifferent.
No. - 587,687 (Little) Words by Kathleen Hayes. Free read from the m/m group on Goodreads for Love is an Open Road. Kidnapping and secret agents.

Two more reviews for New Lease of Life
A 3.5 star review from My Fiction Nook.
"I liked this book. I liked the story, and I liked the plot. The setting in England was well done, and the writing followed the setting, with Colby being a bit rougher around the edges than Phillip. I enjoyed the snark and sarcasm, and Phillip's dry humor.
Definitely worth checking out."

And a 3 heart review from Love Bytes Reviews

A review for New Lease of Life
This one from Joyful Jay.
"What I liked best about this story was that it was a slow burn romance with a lot of angst, mainly in the form of miscommunication and misunderstandings. I also liked that the two characters didn’t immediately jump into a physical relationship. In fact, readers don’t begin to see any heat until almost the end of the book. Therefore, instead of sexy scenes, readers are treated to a an extended period of getting to know each other before things heat up…and heat up they...

One, two, three
Yep, not one but three 4 star reviews from Inked Rainbow Reads.
"The two of them together – watching Pip come out of his shell and Colby learn to respect Pip, but do so in a way that also pushed his boundaries was great to read.
Both were given a new lease on life and it was a sweet, not a lot of drama story." - Avidreader
"Colby comes into his life like a rainbow after a storm." - Cookie.
LOL Love this description of Colby. So much the way I wrote him. (LF)
