Thanks, Carel.

Thanks, Carel. By covering UAP news in a timely, journalistic fashion, we can begin to normalize this topic which will cause others to report on it. We can potentially start a spiral toward further disclosure and truth.

There will be some madness to come that we so far have not seen coming.

There will be some madness to come that we so far have not seen coming. And, despite how crazy he is and what we expect from him, it will probably still shock us at how depraved it is.

Next Christmas

A 24-hour pop-up music video says goodbye to the hard knocks of 2020 and looks to a better future.

“Next Christmas” was created as a kind of “pop-up” music video — something that comes together fast, clock ticking, no time to look back, an idea that just needs to get up and out. Our concept was simple: to acknowledge 2020 for the set-back it’s been and look forward to a year from now when life will be better for everyone. Record that song and make a video for it. In 24 hours.

Don Most (“Happy Days”) sings revised lyrics by Jackie & Bryce Zabel (“Atlantis: The Lost Empire”), accompanied on piano by Loren Gold (“The Who”).

Please share with your friends this holiday season. Here is our shortened URL: https://bit.ly/NextChristmas2020A

Next Christmas was originally published in Stellar on Medium, where people are continuing the conversation by highlighting and responding to this story.

What if The Beatles Did “Get Back” Instead of “Let It Be”?

In 1969, The Beatles tried to make an album in front of cameras with mixed results. You’re finally going to see it.

Director Peter Jackson has shared a sneak peek at his highly anticipated documentary project, “Get Back.” The 56 hours of footage it draws on is beautiful, vibrant and crisp. The new film promises to be everything that the original film made from the same material, “Let It Be,” was not.

Where Jackson’s film will end, “Once There Was a Way: What if The Beatles Stayed Together?” begins. The novel just won the coveted Sidewise Award for Alternate History, and lets John, Paul, George and Ringo find an authentic way to work it out.

Meantime, here’s the “not-a-trailer” trailer for “Get Back.”

Take the Shot

We’ve failed on masks and social distancing, so the vaccine is now the thing.

This really should not be an issue. When we’re losing a 9/11’s worth of American citizens every day now to Covid-19, we should be appreciating that many of the best scientific minds in the medical universe came together to create a supremely effective vaccine in record time. We can now restore normal in 2021.

My wife, Jackie Zabel, and I wrote a four-hour limited TV series called “Pandemic” in 2006. Here is our behind-the-scenes analysis of lessons learned from the production, ending with some clarity about taking a vaccine.

A Vaccine is How the Story Ends

Mark, this is not only next level analysis of the situation, but well-written clean prose.

As a working screenwriter, the work is to focus on getting a green light, getting it made, getting on TV, etc. I write for Medium about a lot of things, mostly UFOs, and while I'm busy talking about what's on my mind, I notice that more people keep finding the work. Still, I write on Medium to do something where the work is mine alone and no executive gives me notes. That's a joy in itself!
