The Maltese Falcon
Great noir isn't just about snappy lines and long shadows! If you look hard enough. I mean, if you really take the time to watch a great thriller, you'll find greed, lust and obsession at their heart!
The Maltese Falcon is one of those movies. Bogart was great. I watched it again last evening and lost myself for an hour or so. Pure escapism.
I hope my novel will stand the test of time.The Thief's Son was written with the same spirit in mind as these great, old movies.
