New Year's Resolutions
Greetings to all,
Now that the holiday's are officially over, I think it is time to take on the new year.
Instead of simply stating something like, "I hope to loose x number of pounds this year," etc., I decided to do something a little different.
I jointed the BodyByVi Challenge with my friends Paige Paugh and Emory Oldaker. This is a 90-day program in which you drink a delicious shake and watch those pounds burn off.
Back on November 30, 2011, I ordered a sample kit to see how it tasted, etc., before committing. I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted good and I found myself drinking one each morning before going to work. Do note that I DID NOT change my diet during the Christmas season.
So, on New Year's Day, I decided to weigh myself for my 'official start' of the challenge. To my astonishment, I LOST TEN POUNDS!! HOLY S**T BATMAN! This was during the holidays and anyone who was hanging around me knew I ate my share of great food. I don't know how in the world I lost weight, but I am thinking it was the shakes (what else could it have been?).
Anyway, I am putting together a fitness team for this 90-day run. This is going to be exciting. Paige and Emory are both Zumba instructors and have told me that if anyone joins the challenge with me, they will help that person with FREE ZUMBA. You heard right. Of course, they are in the Clarksburg, WV, area, but even if you are not here, why not give the challenge a try.

2011 Bizarro Tour Officially Over!

Over the past eight weeks, we have sold close to 200 books and I wanted to take this moment to personally thank each of you who have came out to the various conventions (cons) and book stores along the way to show your support.
Whether you purchased one of my titles (Darkened Hills, Darkened Hollows, or Passageway), one of Rich Bottles Jr.'s titles (Lumberjacked or Hellhole West Virginia), or went balls-out and grabbed our mutually-infamous The Big Book of Bizarro, your patronage is most appreciated.

BOOK REVIEW: Hellhole West Virgina, by Rich Bottles Jr.
You're on a highway to hell(hole)!Get ready for an over-the-top thrill ride that perverts history in a way that only Rich Bottles Jr. can! Do you like the Mothman? Yeah, he's in there and the reader will learn what really happened back in the 1960's over in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
From zombies waving pick axes at the WV Book Festival to quadriplegic midget prostitutes, the King of Bizarro mayhem will either have you rolling on the floor peeing yourself laughing or getting really offended, depending on your sense of humor (or lack thereof).
Hellhole West Virginia is a comedy that draws its plot from several historical events: the Mothman Incident (Point Pleasant, WV), the Manson Murders (Charley is from WV), Hellhole Cave Environmental Issues (Riverton, WV), and others. Plus, there is even a cameo appearance by the author himself in Chapter 4!
Hellhole is not your typical read, but would we want it any other way? Enjoy! I give this read five stars! ★★★★★
