Work underway on “The Tailsman” comic book!
Hello Western & Bizarro-lit fans,
I am pleased to announce that my short story, The Tailsman, will be adapted into a comic book by Burning Bulb Publishing!
Episode #1: The Sioux City Shithouse Monster will feature the awesome artwork of Stuart Brown with comic adaption by famed horror/bizarro author Rich Bottles Jr! This is one comic you will want to pick up, trust me.
The original story is featured in the Burning Bulb Publishing anthology Westward Hoes.

New Year’s Resolutions
Greetings to all,
Now that the holiday’s are officially over, I think it is time to take on the new year.
Instead of simply stating something like, “I hope to loose x number of pounds this year,” etc., I decided to do something a little different.
I jointed the BodyByVi Challenge with my friends Paige Paugh and Emory Oldaker. This is a 90-day program in which you drink a delicious shake and watch those pounds burn off.
Back on November 30, 2011, I ordered a sample kit to see how it tasted, etc., before committing. I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted good and I found myself drinking one each morning before going to work. Do note that I DID NOT change my diet during the Christmas season.
So, on New Year’s Day, I decided to weigh myself for my ‘official start’ of the challenge. To my astonishment, I LOST TEN POUNDS!! HOLY S**T BATMAN! This was during the holidays and anyone who was hanging around me knew I ate my share of great food. I don’t know how in the world I lost weight, but I am thinking it was the shakes (what else could it have been?).
Anyway, I am putting together a fitness team for this 90-day run. This is going to be exciting. Paige and Emory are both Zumba instructors and have told me that if anyone joins the challenge with me, they will help that person with FREE ZUMBA. You heard right. Of course, they are in the Clarksburg, WV, area, but even if you are not here, why not give the challenge a try.
