Hi good people, nice to meet you! I'm sharing my book with you - it's free on Kindle unlimited. Here's the lowdown:
It's written in the first person from the perspective of Douglas Tripp, a nerdy type who has a very standard life by day, but who by night is a serial burglar.
The story takes us from his teens in 80's England when Doug is struggling with life and consequently develops kleptomania, a mental health condition that causes people to steal things they don't need.
This gradually develops into domestic burglary, whereby Doug gets a thrill from taking on more risky gigs which in turn results in him becoming more self-confident. His career begins to sky-rocket and by mid mid-twenties he is very successful and has found the love of his life.
But his burglaries are an addiction that he struggles to control. Eventually he risks everything on one final gig, with fatal consequences!
