Emerson Clarke: Sarcastic. Independent. Possibly losing her mind.

Because that’s the only explanation for why she occasionally sees things that aren’t there, right? But on...

SHADOW FAERIE Release Date Moved to September 2017

Dear readers,

I’m sorry! I’ve ended up delaying the release of Shadow Faerie (Creepy Hollow #8) until September 15th. The thing is, I estimated my editing time based on how long it’s taken me to edit previous books. But with this one, I kept adding more details and fleshing out scenes, and so the book has become longer than I expected, and taken more time to edit! (And I have family visiting from now until the end of August, so I’ll be spending time with them and not working much until Septem...

Cover Reveal for SHADOW FAERIE (Creepy Hollow #8)

Here we go! The cover for the penultimate Creepy Hollow book!

The color for this one was a little difficult (seeing as I’ve used just about every color already ), so in the end I decided to go with a sort of grey-silver-blue-ish color. I think it works quite well with the elements of the cover as well as the actual story

Shadow Faerie

Release date: Jul/Aug

So here’s the thing about the date … I really want to get this book out in July, but I don’t want to set a specific date in case it ends up being Aug...

New Covers for SCARLETT and RAVEN

Funny story … I wasn’t actually planning to change the covers for the Creepy Hollow companion novellas Scarlett and Raven. I quite liked the simple, magical-looking covers I first came up with.

But then I forgot to cancel my subscription to one of the slightly more expensive stock images sites. I had already downloaded what I plan to use for the next two Creepy Hollow novels, so I tried to think of what I might use for the books I have (vaguely) planned for after Creepy Hollow.

While browsing...

Five Years of Publishing: The Journey So Far

Five years ago today, I published my very first title! It was not (as some of you might assume) The Faerie Guardian. No, it was actually only the first part of The Faerie Guardian. And that’s because when I first came up with the Creepy Hollow idea, I intended for the whole series to be published as an ebook serial. i.e. a whole bunch of short instalments instead of several novels.
