Then I think of what I'm about to lose because of him. I could be expelled, or, at the very least, suspended. All my training could be for nothing. All the blood, the bruises, the pain. The nightmares that come after having to kill someone. I may have gone through that for nothing—all because this boy couldn't just stay in his damn bedroom.

Those Moments That Make It All Worth It

Many of you know that I am a teacher in my non-writing time. You may also know that teaching is a highly time-consuming / life-consuming job! I am fortunate enough to have a part-time teaching position, which means that teaching isn't all-consuming (well, most of the time!). Elana Johnson's POSSESSION series just got a makeover! What do you guys think? Are you feeling the cover love? I think... pretty, pretty!!
