The awesome, CR Hiatt, is my fifteen guest on my @KevinSwarbrick 'Deliciously Scandalous Blog Tour.' Another great interview! 'Giggles'

Hello everyone, it feels good to be back :)! I would have been here sooner, but I lost my virtual map along the way, I had to give my head a virtual wobble and fight off a few demons along the way. Anyway as, Robbie Williams would say, 'Let me entertain you!'

Really though, I would like to thank you all for your patience with me on my tour especially my next guest.
I have been looking for a day longer than 24 hours, but unfortunately we all know that day doesn't exist! I have been busy doing numerous tasks along with some radio shows. To find out a little more what I have been up to, then please listen to this awesome radio interview I had with the awesome, Minnie Lahongrais on her show #pinkdiamondinspiration show. Here are the links to that show along with the link to, Minnie's awesome blog page :)

That's only a little of what I have been up to. Let's just say it has been a very busy and unsettling time with everything that has been happening, for that reason alone, I had to step away from a few things and put them on hold until a later date. I am glad to say that at long last, I am now back in my virtual studio, and I will be introducing my next guest that will be arriving very soon, and joining me on my 'Deliciously  Scandalous Blog Tour.'

I do notice a lot of things in the world of Facebook and Twitter, and I do notice the kindness that others display by showing their support  to one another, 'I call them good hearts!' Trust me I have interacted with many people on a daily basis, and that could range from emails, messages on Facebook or on twitter, not to mention other sites like, Goodreads or LinkedIn and the rest! It really is hard work; I know I have said this before at some point, but we all know by working together and showing support for one another, that's when dreams do flourish. The world is a very big place with more than enough space for us all to fit into and shine if you choose to shine.

I am proud to say that, CR Hiatt does fit into my the 'Good Hearts Category. I would like to thank CR for the awesome support she has shown towards me in the social media world. It really has been awesome; I know I do my best to support authors, but it really is hard to write when you have so much going on in your life. There are many people I am very proud of indeed, CR really does shine, and is a breath of fresh air to all out there including me. It gives me great pleasure to have, CR Haitt on this tour.  I am hoping she will arrive soon. I know I said, 'It's great to be back, but I am getting kind of nervous! I know that virtual bar is waiting for me... I have heard that, CR likes to make a bit of an entrance, I have no idea who's picking her up from the airport. Wow... WTF... Now that is some entrance! I have never in all my time in this virtual studio seen anyone do an entrance like that, and landing in such a pose! 10 out of 10 any day....

My presence into the world was somewhat fantastical, since my brother told me I was found under a rock, alone, because nobody wanted the baby girl with warts all over her face. Okay, so that is not reality, just the tale my brother teased me with from the time he could talk.
In reality, I am the daughter of a military veteran, sister to a smart aleck athlete, was an All-American athlete myself, and now I write screenplays and novels about fictional sleuths and spies. I can also say with 100% certainty; I have no warts. Honest. J

Wow... I would say your presence was fantastical, what an entrance!! I can't see you being under a rock for too long, not even as a child, not with an entrance like that, brothers and sisters can be so cruel at times, 'Giggles'
Your father really did teach you well! I hope I don't get on the wrong side of you in this interview, well not the military side anyway! As for the warts, I will take your word on that, but you could come to my virtual doctors surgery where I could examine you and check for warts. I can see you're not impressed, I best move on before you use that rope for something else, could I be related to you all by any chance?... Its just with you saying that about your sister, it reminds me of a guy called Mark in my books; only problem is Mark wasn't an athlete, well not as such 'Giggles.'  Really though...
Sometimes in life we all want more than what we can have, but if you had one wish to have anything or anyone, what would that wish be and why?
One of my stories is very dear to my heart. I want to see it on the big screen, where I will be in the front row with all my supportive friends, tears flowing down my face at the very emotional ending. J

Now that's a nice wish and I would love to be in those front row seats watching both, you crying with joys of delight, and of course the awesome film. I don't know what it's about, but all I know is if anyone can make an entrance like that, well that film is going to be amazing! I am still trying to work out, how you managed to jump off them trees, do a triple somersault and land in such and awesome pose, and remain smiling!

How fit are you!! I really do hope you will star in this film, I would love to see more ;)!! 'Wicked thoughts... Slap face and move on!'
I would like you to make a short story up using no more than 400 words containing every one of these 14 key words; Door, Game, Pool, Mum, Run , Wimp, Hand, Dog Poo, Sex, Fish, Spoon, Hole, Sex, Cat!
I will use my two main characters, McSwain & Beck in my short story. J

Now that sounds like a fantastic idea to me, this I would love to hear :)
Sydney McSwain hurried out the door; late for the game of pool she had scheduled with Cody and Jaden. Prankster that he is, Cody changed the time on her alarm clock. “Wimp,” Sydney said to herself. “That’s the best he could do?”
Across the street, Jaden’s mum held up her hand, giving Sydney the signal there were more pranks to come. Sydney nodded in acknowledgement; then took off in a run, dodged left to avoid a pile of dog poo, tripped on a large serving spoon, and slipped in a hole that wasn't there the day before. Pausing to nurse her sprained ankle, she couldn’t help but notice the large aquarium through the neighbor’s front window. The water was splashing about, and two large fish were doing something she could only describe as having sex. Fish have sex? She chuckled as she stumbled along, until she met up with Cody and Jaden.
“What did you do,” she said to Cody, “put Viagara in the fish tank?”

Great story, It gives me an idea for a story. I could call it the great white, Mark! I saw you manage to use the word sex twice, that's good as we all love sex. I noticed the word cat isn't in the story. Maybe I should have changed it to pussy, we all love pussy......... cats I mean!' Still it was a fishy story and it got me hook, line and as Louie would say, sinker!!! Next question I think, 'Giggles!'
When I first started writing I had a lot of negative people around me, I know I  had to lose that energy in order to continue writing and fulfilling what others thought I couldn't do. Did you ever experience any of this when you first started writing or were you lucky enough to have the right support around you?
Unfortunately, negativity is everywhere, but I do my best to block it out. I think some people, whether subconsciously, or not, fear the success of others, or are jealous of it. Recently, I have seen some very negative things happening to some writers, and it is really a shame. The world is a big place, with a lot of people who enjoy different genres; there is enough success to go around.

I totally understand what you're saying, and you're 100% right. I am sure I have my little hater crew out there somewhere too, but like you said, 'the world is a big enough place for everyone, even my hater crew.' I think all authors should learn to switch off and not be bothered with what others think or their negative opinions. We all have to learn to find the 'F..k you' switch' and keep a positive mind. I respect anyone in the writing industry, even if their work is rubbish, I admire the fact that they have have tried their best, at least they tried. There is also a lot of snakes in the grass that I have noticed too. I think this is where our detective work comes into play, but unfortunately we don't need to do that, we both see what's going on, and we're no fools ;) Speaking of fools...

If you had a chance to run any country and make a difference, what country would it be and why?
Me? You want me to run a country? Where is it warm all year long? J

Wow... You can't just reverse the question like that! You know how my mind works! Louie knows all the hot places all year around... 'Giggles!' Ok let's just say 'Maldives or Kenya or  Brazil or Singapore... I could go on, but I like my first answer ;)!
What would you say the worst thing a reader has ever said to you and what was your reaction?
I wouldn't say it is the “worst thing” a reader has said to me, just something that I disagree with, and usually want to respond, even though I don’t. Well, except here.
When a reader makes the comment that they don’t believe 18-year-olds (which is the age of my main characters), can perform some of the actions that they do in my series, McSwain & Beck, I disagree. Not because I wrote the book, and therefore believe my characters can do anything, but because I have seen young explorers, soldiers, recruits, and many more who are that age, and sometimes younger, carrying out heroic deeds far more dangerous than anything my characters do.

Oh my! I think that reader needs to keep an open mind., and we all know James Bond films are not fiction!I know I am talking out of my arse there, speaking of talking out of my arse...

I would like you to vision yourself walking down a busy high street with your partner and suddenly there was a noise that came from your partner's bottom, and people turned around looking at you, what would your reaction be and why?

I would say “I told you to leave that Woopie Cushion at home.”

'Giggles!' If you were my partner, I would turn to you and  reply, 'Darling, you do blow me away and I love you so much, like a warm soft gentle breeze blowing down on me on a summers day!' Ok! Ok! That was cheesy, but I still would have said something like that, 'Giggles!'
Can you use two words that would describe you?
Too loyal
Loyal is good, but too? That was such a waste of a word, I will change it to  'Loyal, confident' That's better ;)

Have you ever been…
A, The owner of a lonely heart.
B. The owner of a broken heart
C. None of the above?

A and B.
No not another, A & B. Saying that though, it does make us stronger in ourselves at a later date, we just don't see that at the time when we feel we have lost everything. Lets change the conversation! We want smiles :)

It's time for a little fun, I would like you to do the rhyme ‘Jack and Jill.' Using your own words...
Jack and Jill went to the pub to fetch a pint of ale. The barkeep said, there is no ale, how ‘bout a pint of Guiness. They stared at the man, and said, “No way. That’s a major fail.”“How can we write our story and rhyme, without a pint of ale?”

I will drink to that ;) Well done, 'Giggles'
When you are writing, do you ever think, 'Erm me and my partner did that last night, that has to go into the story as?
Um, no. My current fictional characters are PG rated. J

Lmao, that's a good point, but still, Bert and Ernie out of Sesame Street do have a lot to answer for!!
If you could be a Musical instrument, what would you be and why?
Drums. I love to move to the beat of my… J
Hell yeah! Now you're talking. There is nothing wrong with a good bang!

If you could change one thing about you as a person, what would that one thing be?
I would stop worrying about what others think.

I hear you there. Even though I do these interviews, I am always thinking will others like it? The facts are, they like you, the person that is behind the creative mind, and the other facts are like you said before about jealous people and the way they think that you have this wonderful awesome life when you're a writer. They do need to get their heads out of the sand and realise how much hard work goes into aiming for that perfect life that others think you have! I'm getting a little deep here as Louie would say if he could talk that is! Basically, just be yourself, not everyone is going to like you, so my point is, why worry, life is far to short. Let's move on before I go even deeper, we can save that for after the interview! Drink and chat people...
I know we all remember our first kiss, would you say yours was a good experience or a bad one?  Please explain why.
At the time, I thought it was bad. Looking back on it now, it was cute. In third grade I was the tetherball champion, and one of the boy’s (who I thought was my nemesis) was determined to beat me. Another student made him a bet, unbeknownst to me. When I beat him, once again, the boy had to kiss me in front of the entire class. Of course, he chose to do it when I was in front of the class reading my book report. Embarrassing.
Days later, when he chose to pull on my wrap-a-round skirt, leaving my panties showing, was definitely bad.

Now that's bad in my eyes! At that age I was feeling my class mates boobies, no really I was, some of them where massive! Don't worry my year teacher did pull me aside and had words with me not to do it. I was only trying to fit in! No not like that! With the rest of the crowd. It wasn't easy being an ugly unnoticed ducking back then. I would be the one in the class that got caught laughing or doing something silly. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't a bad lad, I would just copy others to try and fit in, but I was the one always getting caught. I guess I didn't know when to end the joke, if I got a laugh, I carried on! I had a friend from over 20 years ago, he messaged me on Facebook, and told me he still remembers some of my old jokes! Anyway we got chatting a little, and I had to get him to enlighten me! He said, 'Do you remember the mild green fairy lip squid joke? I had no idea what the guy was on about, until he told me. I will share one with you, only so you can see how bad they were! I did try, 'Giggles.'

A man goes into a seafood restaurant, the waiter said "choose your food from the tank" the man looked and saw a green squid with a moustache, he said, "I will have that one" and pointed to this squid. The waiter said, "You can't have him, he's the pot washer!" "Pot washer?" replied the man, all puzzled, "Yes" said the waiter, "cause hands that do dishes feel as soft as your face, with mild green furry lip squid." I know that's what I thought too, but we are going back to when I was around 12-13 here. I had a pubic hair growing at the time, 'Giggles!' I can say now that I do remember that joke. Thanks Simon :) ...

Do you ever remember a part in your life that’s made a huge impact on you as a person. If so would you like to share that part with the reader?
I strongly believe in the message of “Pay it Forward”, but it was actually my daughter who was responsible for teaching me its importance.
As a single mother, money was sparce, leaving my daughter and I to live paycheck to paycheck. Each week, I would set aside a $25 which we could use to either go to a movie, or her favorite, a Happy Meal at McDonalds. One Saturday I was doing some spring cleaning, but decided to take a break. We piled into the car and headed to McDonalds, purchased her meal and a sandwich for me, leaving us with $20 left over. On the way, we noticed a Mother with her young son (probably 3) and an infant, standing on the corner with a bag of possessions. Clearly, they were homeless and down on their luck.
My daughter was struck by the image, and asked me if we could help. I reminded her that if we did, that meant we would be empty-handed. She said that’s okay; we can go home and make a peanut butter sandwich - something we did, a lot.
Following my daughter’s lead, I pulled to the side of the road. She offered her Happy Meal to the young boy, and showed him the toy inside, while I handed my sandwich and the $20 to the Mother. As we drove off, we were both warmed to the heart by the tears of thanks in her eyes, and the eyes of the boy that were lit up like you wouldn't believe.
Back home, we finished our peanut butter sandwiches. She went to her room to play, while I returned to my cleaning. I went to my room to put on some clean sheets, and flip over the mattress - something I did periodically. When I flipped over the mattress, $900 in cash was lying on the box spring. I was stunned to say the least. Where on earth did the money come from? I have never put money under the mattress. Not to mention, I would never have had $900 in cash to do so. The $25 we had to splurge on was the most we could ever do. Needless to say, my daughter and I believe we were rewarded for our choice to Pay it Forward.
Aww that is such a sweet story, I know that woman wouldn't have forgotten your kindness, and for your daughter to suggest it, just goes to show what a great mum you have been to her :)  I know I've handed out money to the homeless on the streets in the past, and it does give you that joy full feeling that you have done your bit to help, but I never had that angel watching over me as you did. I have no idea how that amount of money got there under your mattress unless you were on the game! I can't see that though, well I can if I stretch my imagination, 'Giggles' Really though, that amount of money back then, would be like winning the lottery! I hope you do play the lottery, after all the angel could still be watching. I think my angle was battling with my demons to even notice when I was doing good deeds, or maybe she/he/it, did! I'm here now with you, so yes it did :) Anyway with all this chatting is making my mouth feel a litte dry, and you know I can see that virtual pub from here, and I can see two glasses with our names on them, which brings us to the end of the interview, but before we go...

Can you tell the reader about your latest work and also tell the reader where they can find you.

The lovely author, Regina Puckett is my fourteenth awesome guest on my, 'Deliciously Scandalous Blog Tour'.

My next guest is a huge inspiration to me and also a great friend here in my cyber world. I can always tell a good person from a bad, and I will tell you now this lady has a huge heart of gold and is one talented lady. When the chips have been down for me, and trust me I have had a very bumpy ride, I know I can count on her words of wisdom to pick me back up again. I won't beat around the bush, I have done too much of that in my time, but they do make awesome stories, that's if you can handle a heatwave 'Giggles'  Anyway I best introduce my mum to you all! No she isn't really, but I do call her that on twitter and Facebook, but if she was, I know she would be my perfect mother! Stop looking at me and rolling your eyes back, I will get on with the interview! Shhhh! Don't say a word... My next guest is the awesome author, Regina Puckett all the way from Tennessee, where she lives with her husband and has two grown up daughters, one I call my Sis; yes, the great Charity Parkerson who is lucky enough to have this fantastic lady as a mum! Sorry I am filling up here Regina, where was I... Yes, she has four lovely grandchildren, and is the author of sweet romance novels, short tales of horror, inspirational short stories, poetry and children's picture books... As you can see Regina is one very smart lady, lets see how you get on with the first question, I can tell you're dying to speak...

Sometimes in life we all want more than what we can have, but if you had one wish to have anything or anyone, what would that wish be and why?

My biggest dream has always been to be a writer, so I’m living my dream.  If I had to wish for something, it would be to never run out of stories to tell.
It is lovely to hear when dreams come true, you are living that dream, I am living mine too at this end with gaining a cyber mum :)

I would like you to make a short story up using no more than 400 words containing every one of these 14 key words; Box, Game, Showers, Dad, Figure, Window, Government, Dog Poo, Sex, Lamp, Spoon, Hole, Flame, Sheep!
“I was certain you wouldn’t mind walking Marvin.  After all, what’s another animal thrown into the mix?”
Mr. Casper handed Susan the dog leash, and then with the toe of his shoe nudged ‘Marvin’ out the door.  As soon as that was accomplished, he shut the door before Susan had time to protest or react to the strange new twist to what was turning out to be ‘The Day From Hell.Without Mr. Casper there as a witness, Marvin and Susan eyed each other warily.  Seeing no other choice, Susan tugged at Marvin’s leash, hoping against hope that the dogs in her care wouldn’t think Marvin was a new doggie treat or something.  Fortunately, after a few sniffs, the dogs accepted the sheep as one of the guys. Things were actually looking up until Susan tried getting Marvin to follow her off of the porch. Instead following her lead though, the damn four-legged sweater dug in his heels and refused to move.By this time, the dogs were wrapping their leashes around her and the nearest porch posts. It was enough to make Susan seriously consider tying Marvin’s lease to the front doorknob and leaving him behind, but just as she was about to do just that, Mr. Casper peeked out of the living room windowFeeling like a two year old on the verge of throwing a temper tantrum, Susan whispered to the stubborn sheep, “I should have stayed in bed this morning when I heard the rain and hail hitting my bedroom window, but the optimistic in me said, “get up and face the day”. But what did I get for my trouble?  I lost my spoon in the garage disposal, and then I broke mom’s favorite lamp. When Dad gets home, he’s going to box my stuff up and set fire to it.  With the way my day’s going, the flames will probably spread and burn the entire neighborhood down.”The sad story of her life must have made Marvin feel bad for acting like such a jerk, because he immediately jumped off of the front porch to join her and the dogs. As a reward, Susan petted his head. “Thank goodness.  I thought I was going to have to cook you for supper tonight, so I could dispose of the evidence of your early demise.”Things were actually looking up for a few minutes, but about four blocks later, rain showers began falling, and if that wasn’t bad enough, she stepped into a hole in the sidewalk and twisted her ankle. Feeling like her day couldn’t get any worse, Susan sat on the nearest curb and began sobbing. Now at easy access, the dogs began licking the tears off of her face and Marvin plopped into her lap.Susan tried pushing, the now wet and very smelly, sheep off of her.  When he refused to budge, she threw her hands into the air. “Fine. I give up.  I haven’t had sex in six months.  There’s a sheep in my lap and I have five dogs who think crying is some sort of game.” Just when she thought things couldn’t get any worse, a car drove by and splashed water all over her. If more tears would help the situation, she might have cried harder, but since they hadn’t helped so far, she tried pushing Marvin out of her lap again.  Instead of him moving though, three of the dogs joined him.  There was really nothing left to do but laugh.  “Fine.  I know a government conspiracy when I see one.” Susan sat there in the pouring rain and waited for the flames of Hell to consume her.Great story mum, but what about the figure and the dog poo! Not to worry, I will see plenty of figures when I am out tonight in my virtual pub. I love that place you know, there is no hassle, and everyone is so friendly, 'Giggles' As for the dog poo, it's shit that you have left it out, but sill it is a crap word that I put in there, speaking of crap...
When I first started writing I had a lot of negative people around me, I know I  had to lose that energy in order to continue writing and fulfilling what others thought I couldn’t do. Did you ever experience any of this when you first started writing or were you lucky enough to have the right support around you?
I discovered a long time ago not to depend on other people to believe in the goals I set for myself. My family loves me, but I don’t believe they ever thought I had it in me to become a writer. The truth is, I do my best work when faced with a challenge that no one else believes I can win. I’m used to fighting all of my own fights.  I really don’t know how to do it any other way.
I can understand what you are saying there, my family and even friends, or should I say who I thought were friends never thought I had it in me too, but I think as time has moved on, they can see the change in me and know my determination that no one was going to stop my new found passion, I did say you were family. We just keep fighting and it all does turn out right in the end. That give me an idea...
If you had a chance to run any country and make a difference, what country would it be and why?
No one wants to put me in charge of a business much less an entire country.  I let power go to my head. It would be ‘off with their heads’ or ‘let them eat cake’.
My you just made Louie cringe! Don't worry I told him his head is safe. 'Phew' I wouldn't say no to the cake though, I will look for your county when I'm sleeping, I will even name it, Reginaville, just so it sticks in the back of your mind, I love cake, but some people don't like it. I guess that's the same as books...
What would you say the worst thing a reader has ever said to you and what was your reaction?
When I wrote The Beauty in the Beast, I thought it was the best story I had ever written, but when I released it, people either loved it or hated it. The harsh criticism hurt a lot because I loved my little sweet romance so much.  This story says a lot about what I believe about life and how I see people dealing with the struggles in their lives.  All the time I see how the same situation affects two people so totally differently.  One person will live through a horrible situation and use that pain to make something good out of it. Another person will let that same situation destroy their entire life. There was so much of my heart in that short tale that when people hated it, it felt as if they hated me.  But I have to say, those reviews helped me to grow a thicker skin and figure out how to use them to become a better writer.
I agree with everything you have said there. You can take reviews harsh at first, but you do learn from them, and we do learn from them, and they do push us forward. We write from the heart, and that heart does give us awesome stories, but unfortunately not everyone is going to like them. People have their own minds, and as you said, they are not the same. Someone can be suffering without knowing how to deal with a situation, and another person can just brush it to one side and not let the same problem bother them, not like my next question I am about to ask you...
I would like you to vision yourself walking down a busy high street with your partner and suddenly there was a noise that came from her (his) bottom and people turned around looking at you, what would your reaction be and why?
You act like that doesn’t happen to me just about every day of my life.  I figured out a long time ago not to walk next to my husband when we are out in a public place. The man has no shame.
He sounds like a true man, 'Giggles' I mean in the respect of not giving a s..t! It could be worse, he could follow through. Yuck!  No don't reply to that thought, let's bring on some happy thoughts!

Use only two words that would describe you?
Happy mess
8, Have you ever been…A, The owner of a lonely heart.B. The owner of a broken heartC. None of the above?
A & B-People break my heart every day and I can be lonely in the middle of a crowd. And none of that is anyone’s fault but my own.
It's time for a little fun, I would like you to do the rhyme ‘Humpty Dumpty’.
Can you believe that hussy is out there sitting on the wall again? Her pimp is on the other side just waiting for all of the king’s men to go riding by.  Every time he pushes her off, the horsemen stop and handle all of her bits and pieces. There ought to be a law against such depravity taking place right in the middle of the street and in broad daylight.
I was just googling that street! It is in Reginaville! Your country is pretty cool so far, 'Giggles' Speaking of cool..
When you are writing, do you ever think, 'Erm me and my partner did that last night, that has to go into the story as?
You made me laugh.
I take that as a yes then, I will move on and say no more other than, what book are you both in? 'Giggles'. Only joking, you know me and I like to have a good laugh to, I am just glad it runs in the family ;) If you could be a Musical instrument, what would you be and why?

I would be a violin. It makes the sweetest music. Who wouldn't want to be the instrument everyone stops what they're doing so they can listen to it?That's so true, I guess that's why we write instead ;)If you could change one thing about you as a person, what would that one thing be?I wish I had more confidence in myself. I'm such a pushover.
Awww bless mum, I find that hard to believe, look at you and your wonderful family, look at everything you've achieved, and the awesome work you are still doing! Saying that, I feel the same about myself at times. I think we all get that feeling so many times in our lives, but we have to kick ourselves as we know deep down those voices are holding us back. In our game we mustn't let anyone stand in our way, other wise dreams will not be filled. Speaking of dreams can you remember this far back....
I know we all remember our first kiss, would you say yours was a good experience or a bad one?  Please explain why.I have only kissed one man before.  I began dating my husband when I was fifteen. His car broke down on our first date, and while we were waiting for my parents, he used his time wisely.  It must have been a great experience, because I married him three and a half years later, after I graduating from high school.

Awww you are so sweet! Kissing just one person before your husband, you won't find that this day and age any more, I take my hat off to you! My lips are wearing thin trying to find that right person, 'Giggles'. Moving on from the snogging talk...Do you ever remember a part in your life that’s made a huge impact on you as a person. If so would you like to share that part with the reader?I’ve lived long enough to have several things fall into that category, but my daughters have probably been my biggest successes.  They turned out to be beautiful people, in spite of me, and have taught me the most about life.

I'm going to start crying if you carry on like that mum, all those years you have missed out on my childhood...... Shame on you! Giggles. Still you are making up for lost time now, I wonder what my really mum is doing now, picking cig ends up off the floor or living a life of luxury, I wonder if she knows I am alive! One thing I have learnt in life is no matter what, you never turn your back on your children  Can you tell the reader about your latest work and also tell the reader where they can find you.I just released my sweet romance, Concealed in My Heart.  I received my rights back to it last December.  It took several months of rewriting and editing to make it into a thing of beauty.  I have always loved this story, but my writing style has changed so much since the book’s first release, it took loads of hard work before I felt comfortable enough to release it again.  I also found an excellent editor, Debra Hartman.  She was a huge help, and I’m so proud of the way it turned out.

I would like to thank Regina for dropping by today.  I am glad you have your rights back, I know it does take a lot of work when you're rewriting it all again. I have just done that with 'Passion' 'The Louie Has Landed Series', and that took me around 9 months to do :( I am just happy that I can now write my new stories, it wasn't a nice feeling for me having to re-live it all.  I know I have driven this lady to drink now! I must have,Regina isn't about and I can see her in my virtual pub ;) Anyway I would like to thank you all for joining me on my tour and all the support you have all shown. As you know I did start of doing this once a week, and maintained it for `3 weeks, but unfortunately due to my situation at this end, I had to step back from a lot of things to sort my own stuff out, my head hasn't been in the best place, and when my head isn't in a good place, my writing isn't. I hope I have given my head a huge wobble and I will be back on track again very soon, but until then I will just be posting when I have the time to do so. There is a long way to go yet with this tour, and I do have some great ideas along with some great questions to be asked! Make sure you keep an eye out for my next awesome guests... Coming soon ;)

My name is Scarlett Flame and I live in Manchester (although like Kevin I am a Salford lass born in Hope Hospital) I am a flame haired, blue eyed nurse currently writing my first books. My books are in the genre of erotica, Steampunk and paranormal romance.

I love to read and write and have an avid passion for music too.

Wow... I can't hear any music, but I am beginning to sing! I can see this interview is going to be a lot of fun, you don't have the take your clothes off just yet, I know you have heard about Louie, but we haven't even started the interview or gone to my virtual pub for a drink yet. Saying that I can see this being a cheap night, 'Giggles'. You were born in Hope Hospital, that's awesome, but I don't remember seeing you, I would have remembered that fiery hair all day long. Saying that I was an ugly baby, when I was born the midwife slapped my dad. I was only a small baby, I had a match stick box as a cot until I was 9 years of age. Ok maybe not. There is a part in my book, 'Passion' about that hospital. I won't say too much, but it's ten out of ten on my point scoring monitor! Born in Hope Hospital and... I'm not telling, 'Giggles. Really though...
Sometimes in life we all want more than what we can have, but if you had one wish to have anything or anyone, what would that wish be and why?

This is SO difficult to answer. What would my one wish be? I think I would like to be taken more seriously especially in my writing. I feel that if more people believed in me and my writing that this would make me feel infinitely better about myself.

Are you crazy? You are here now with me, I have been down that road and now look at the amount of respect my writing gets, you are an awesome writer and you don't need anyone to tell you that, other than yourself. The rest will follow :) Like anything in life, it takes time to grow. You have many wonderful people behind you, not just me. God that sounds so wrong considering you write erotica! I think you need to cover up a little, my 'Minds' wondering off the question! I can feel Louie knocking downstairs. Ouch! Please just sit back and talk to me, tell me a nice story...

I would like you to make a short story up using no more than 400 words containing every one of these 14 key words; Bra, Game, Toe, Pedestrian, Rope, Window, Government, Car, Sex, Limp, Job, Grass, Sun
I stepped out of the car onto the pavement outside the Government Building, looking across the road.
My destination, job interview and date were on the opposite side of the street. I spotted the large imposing house from the windowof the taxi. All I needed to do now was cross on the pedestriancrossing, walk up to the door and knock.
It was still early and the grass was damp with dew. The sun was lighting up the dew like tiny jewels, sparkling in the early morning sunshine.
I had met Tom on the internet. On Twitter actually and we would talk for hours via DM.
He had offered me a job at the family business and we were going to discuss this on our date. The gate was tied with a loop of rope, which hooked over the gate post. As I walked up the path, Tom must have been on the look out for me (which was fortunate!) as I managed to trip over an uneven flag just in front of the door. Stubbed my toe and went flying forward. “Damn.” I thought “Good start! Face planting on the path!” Tom had meanwhile opened the door and leapt forward catching me before I hit the deck. We both laughed, breaking the ice, and I managed to walk into the house with just a trace of a limp.
Tom led me into a large room at the back of the house and my face must have been a picture!. Strewn around the room were sex toys, bottles of lube, a sex game, and to top it all a purple peep hole bra! On the table there was stacked some purple rope (obviously this family went mountain climbing a lot!)
That was when I began to think “OMG, it's like the set of 50 Shades of Grey!” That was when I heard Tom giggling. He was laughing so hard I was sure he was going to wet himself!
“By the way I didn't tell you what the family business was! Did I?” Tom spluttered”We own a number of sex shops. We need more staff now due to the increased interest in all things like this. Due to all the erotic books being published lately! 50 Shades seems to have opened the floodgates.”
We both looked at each other and I collapsed in a fit of giggles, as we held on to each other laughing.
It looked like , not only had I landed a very unusual job, but a discount on rampant rabbits as long as I worked there.
Got to love Twitter.

Lmao! Louie said, 'Who needs a rampant rabbit when you have the man with two brains interviewing you!' He's only popped into it because you were on about  peep holes in bras and sex games. I will tell him to keep his head out of this interview! Great story by the way... These sex shops of yours, can you tell the reader where to find them, I am sure I would be interested to know... I mean the reader would be! I always dig myself a hole with these interviews! Do you fancy a Ginger? I know I do... There is nothing like dunking your Ginger in a nice hot cup of tea... I love my Gingers... 'Giggles' Sorry I will stop now, it's just you have me all excited. Your hubby hasn't anything to fear, I write none fiction and my books are about affairs. You're in safe hands ;)

When I first started writing I had a lot of negative people around me, I know I  had to lose that energy in order to continue writing and fulfilling what others thought I couldn't do. Did you ever experience any of this when you first started writing or were you lucky enough to have the right support around you?

This question takes me back to question one really. The answer is simple in some respects. NO I didn't feel that I had support. As a consequence I actually hid the fact that I was writing. Hiding my initial hand written manuscript in a drawer like some sort of guilty secret!

Your answer does :) I know it isn't nice when you don't get the respect you deserve when it comes to your writing. We all know that some of the critics have never put a sentence together, but yet they can judge! It's funny really, I do have some critics on my FB, you know the people that say; You spelled 'mark' without a capital, but yet you can go on their FB and boy I feel like putting them right... But I don't any more, I  just smile! Rise above it all and never fear what your heart is telling you to do. Don't worry what other people think. There is always going to be people out there who will try to put you down in life! Never hide what you and others believe in. I have a lot of faith in you, too much in fact...
If you had a chance to run any country and make a difference, what county would it be and why?

I would choose (if I had the opportunity) to run this country. I find the vast majority of MPs in general to be a self-centered and selfish lot on the whole. They are generally undeserving of our support or the ridiculous wages they receive. They are voted in on the lies that they tell and leave out all the stupid idiotic policies they desire to implement.

A particular bugbear of mine (as a nurse!) is the NHS.This should with immediate effect be removed from the political arena, as so much is wasted when a party comes into power! The vast majority of changes cost us incredible amounts of money that would be put to better use providing more nurses, doctors and staff in general.
Increasing staffing reduces morbidity (research tells us more staff better care.) Not rocket science but apparently MPs can be particularly dumb on this matter. The blame has been pointed at Thatcher in respect of the dismantling of the NHS. Yet, despite being in power Labour (in my humble opinion) made the NHS worse. Staffing levels are appalling, wages do not reflect the work done. Especially work undertaken by nurses and auxiliaries etc.Cleaning of wards and domestic staff should once again be done by staff, not agencies and nameless individuals. Once more domestic and cleaning staff would become the proud members of the ward, as they used to be.
I have been in some filthy hospitals and seen some dreadful behaviour by doctors, nurses and others. So bad that I was left feeling ashamed to be part of the medical profession ( particularly but not without exception – care of the elderly)
Yes, nursing is a calling in a lot of respects but we need to be rewarded and feel valued too.
I agree that we need to sort out social payments too. Why should someone who has not (and frequently does not) work receive more money to live on than a working individual! I think not! What incentive is there to go out and secure a job! I would do more for the elderly too (the vast majority have paid into the state all their lives! For what?
Finally (Gawd I bet Kevin wishes he never asked me this question!) I would look very closely at rewriting or re implementing The Human Rights Act and our place in the EU! I have no desire to live in a state! And this act is misused!
Rant over. I think I have said enough on this subject. Next question please Kevin.
Don't worry about the rant, you can bend over and moan later as well! Did I just say that? I am digging a hole here aren't I? I can tell by the way you're looking at me... Sorry sometimes I just think out loud. Slap me if you want, but make sure I'm bent over. 'Giggles'. I hear you about the NHS. The ex in my novels is a nurse and the stories I've heard from her and others that work for the NHS is terrible! People can blame Maggie for a lot of things, but really in this day and age and how this country is being run is shocking. It makes me want to live aboard... Anyone wants a lodger then let me know. 'Giggles'. I don't want to get started on this NHS, I hear you and the whole NHS system is shocking, speaking of shocking...

What would you say the worse thing a reader has ever said to you and what was your reaction?

I think the worse think a reader could say to me (as an erotic writer) that my writing did not cause them to “react”. That is left them cold.
Most people do not understand quite how much work is put into a piece of work (be it erotica or any other piece of writing)

I would feel that I had let my readers down. I want my work to move people and also sometimes (with humour or other emotions) make them smile or even cry.
If that doesn't work we can take pics after the interview? You can take that top off again if you like, I know it's getting hot in here and I know I'm smiling... NO! Don't put your jacket on... Now I am crying... I see what you mean about emotions, look at me? I am a right mess... I don't know if I am coming or going. Yes your words are working, 'Erm' that gives me an idea...

I would like you to vision yourself walking down a busy high street with your partner and suddenly there was a noise that came from his bottom and people turned around looking at you, what would your reaction be and why?

Ha ha loved this question (Salford lass remember!)                         I would probably initially go red in the face.
Then, I would think of the scene from the Pink Panther in the lift and laugh.
As a nurse I always said “Better out than in!” and it is as natural as  all our other bodily functions. Everybody does it (think about royalty doing this! Prince Philip asking his new grandson to pull my finger lol)
I think royalty might have played the pull my finger game at some point. If none of them have, then I am sure Prince William might have done this in the past. I take my hat of to that guy. He is human :) I agree it's better out than in any day, unless your name is Louie and he wouldn't agree ;)It's good to see you're a true Salford lady and not like the Vickie Pollard girls these days.  I seen one on the peasants and she had her arse on the shop window! I looked at her funny, yes funny and not f...!! Your mind is really bad...!! Anyway where was I? Yes she had her arse on the shop window! She said, 'What are you looking at D....!' The language was disgusting, and then she let one out and boy what a ripper it was. I looked and smiled and said, you must be so proud of yourself, that's the first lot of shit you have said that has made any sense. Oh and by the way, don't wear white shorts when you do out like that again, look at the state of them'. and I carried on walking lol'... I left her looking behind at her arse. It was funny at the time. Cheeky bugger! Not to worry...
Use only two words that would describe you?

Caring Person
That's one word really. We all know that you're a person... But saying that, my last author I interviewed was from Mars. If you haven't read that interview, I think you should. He's my twin from another realm. 'Giggles'.
8, Have you ever been…
A, The owner of a lonely heart
B. The owner of a broken heart
C. None of the above?
If the answer is C, please can you tell the reader how you have done it, I can see the reader would be interested to know that one, I know I am.

Yes, after a particularly acrimonious split I felt I would never find love again. This is a debilitating way to feel.
B)Yes. I have had my heart broken a number of times over my lifetime.
I truly would not wish a broken heart on anyone else. The pain is unbearable. Sometimes if felt like I had swallowed a large hard stone that had got stuck in my chest. The pain was SO real. I turned to drink and Valium to try and cope and block it out, but that wasn't really a solution.
I think you lose the value of yourself! I felt like no one loved me, not just the person that broke my heart. Now, I know I am truly loved by some of the people I love the most. Someone who would break my heart does not deserve my pain and tears. You have to move on.
I agree with you there. The pain of a broken heart isn't nice at all. I know I have been through that pain many times in my life. No one understands the pain, as it's your pain, your mind, and your heart that's crying out not to be broken and yes you do feel alone. It is a game of mind over matter. I went through one of my worst stages of my life I could go through last year. The loss of my home and the rest. The stress levels where very high and the depression did kick in. I had no home and nowhere to go, I didn't have the support from my family other than my Nana. They were too busy judging my grammar mistakes rather than offer me a place to stay for a few nights! It's a long story and not a very nice one at that. That was one of my worst parts of my life when I did feel alone, more alone than I ever felt with a broken heart. If it wasn't for the good friends that I have, letting me stay at theirs, then God knows what would have happened to me. One reason I have never had children, is because I would want to give that child everything I never had. If I had more than one child, I would treat them all the same. That's all there is to it...
It's time for a little fun, I would like you to do the rhyme ‘Rock A Bye Baby’. Using your own words and without holding back.

Another difficult task Here goes.
Rock my socks baby, please do not stop!
My batteries are flat, so I need a big cock.
Tie me and spank me and whip me with glee

So I will cum baby, please hear my plea!
Bloody hell you didn't hold back did you? LMAO! Louie and I loved it baby ;) 'Giggles'.
If you could be a musical instrument, what would you be and why?

If I could be a musical instrument I would be a saxophone. I think the sound they make is so soulful and sexy. How I would like to be seen.
If you could change one thing about you as a person, what would that one thing be?
My reticence to say NO would be the one thing I would change. I tend to overburden myself and agree to things I shouldn't have. Life would run much more smoothly if I could learn to say NO!
You can't do a rhyme like that and say no to me! You haven't even heard what I am going to ask you... Ok no it is, 'Giggles'.
When you are writing, do you ever think, 'Erm I did that with my partner last night , that has to go into the story?
Yes some of my writing reflects things that I have done (not telling you which though lol Keep you guessing!) and others are just in my dirty little mind! Some of my writing is based on fantasies I am told by others. Be they male or female others. Sometimes it works in reverse too and my writing prompts me to experiment with fantasies I have written about too. Ann Summers and Love Honey are doing a roaring trade due to this :)

I can't get over you not telling me, it's only me and you here at the moment. So you have a smile that works well. That's great to know. Can you pass me that pencil I just accidentally dropped behind you... Mmmmm I can only imagine the smile behind the jeans! Does the fire match the fire place! Sorry I was thinking out loud... I will move on quick and I really think you can stop bending over now. You have the right pencil in your hands... I will take you shopping later, 'Giggles'...
I know we all remember our first kiss, would you say yours was a good experience or a bad one?  Please explain why.
My first kiss (as I remember) was as a teenager with an older boy. I remember not really enjoying it as our teeth clashed and I wasn't sure what to do with my nose!! Ha ha funny the things you remember.
The old teeth clashing lol. You made me have a flash back then too. I agree it is funny how you can remember things...
Do you ever remember a part in your life that’s made a huge impact on you as a person? If so would you like to share that part with the reader?
Some years ago I almost died when my kidneys collapsed. At the time I didn't realise I was so ill. The clue should have been my mother spending every visit crying her eyes out! I was on a Thoracic ward and lots of my friends on the ward died (one while I was talking to his wife!) This was when I decided that I would become a nurse and give something back as such too.
Oh my God, that is so horrible thing to go though. I am glad that experiences made you the person you are now. It is far from nice what you have gone through, not to mention the losses on the ward, I wouldn't wish it on anyone, not even my worse enemy, I am just glad you are here to tell the story, and to also inspire others through your words of wisdom and of course seduction.  Sorry I had to get that in, I don't want to put a downer on things, not now your top is back off I don't! Quick next question 'Giggles'...

Who inspired you to write or was it always a dream to be an author?
I have always written. Mostly poetry although I haven't written much poetry in a long time.
I have always kept a diary as such too.
My impetus to write recently was after reading 50 Shades of Grey. All I could think was I could do this and write something equally good, or better! Something that wasn't quite so repetitive or unbelievable too.
So really I have to thank E. L. James for that
That is awesome, the next 50 shades, but the Scarlett Flame style! I have many styles I would like to show you after this interview, maybe we can put chains together and come up with something, or we could go to my virtual pub, which is just right there behind you, we could have a whip round and find a charity box... Like this one... See it says; I give to charity on my boxer shorts. My mate's wife bought them for him, but he couldn't fill them his wife said. I have been collecting and putting money down there, but they are tight, I have manage to get £20 down there in £5 notes. Now I know what his wife Charity was on about ;)

Can you tell the reader about your latest work and also tell the reader where they can find you.
I have one manuscript written the book will be called (The Prophecy Unfolds (Dragon Queen) it is the first in a series of books. An erotic paranormal romance set on a steampunk world ;)

Thanks for having me (Ha ha a bit previous I know because haven't had me yet)

LMAO! I love the way she says that and then runs out of my office... It was my birthday last weekend and I am to old for all this chasing around... Anyway I hope you all enjoyed the interview and if we did offend any one in anyway, why the hell have you read to the end? My point too, and as my point is pointing up, I have a flame to put out... I must dash she's way ahead of me. Not that I'm worried, I know I will find her in Ann Summers! 'Giggles'. From both of us, enjoy your weekend, until next time, keep smiling, and be safe ;)

The awesome author, Ben Ditmars is my twelve guest on my 'Deliciously Scandalous Blog Tour'. Another great interview ;)

Thank you once again for joining me on my tour. Today I have a crazy, wonderful author, Ben Dimars with me. This guy is a hoot! I don't know if you have visited my website, but there is a free ebook called, 'Turkey Slap'. You can download this fantastic ebook free from Smashwords. It was a competition I entered with many other very talented authors to write a short story, no more than 1.000 word, To my surprise I found that easy too and I ended up coming in fifth place, even though there were only four ladies in my story getting slapped around with Louie, I know what you are thinking, 'Here we go again with the Louie jokes!', What can I say other than I like to get him in when I can! God that sounded wrong too! Oh well... Yes I was saying about the competition, the idea of the stories in there are to be funny and erotic, and giving someone a good, 'Turkey Slap'. Which is slapping someone with their own Louie! The brains behind it all were the four whips, best known as, Dionne Lister, Melissa Craig, Amber Norgarrd and Charity Parkerson. I came in fifth place and my next author came in first. It didn't matter to me who came first or second. For me it was about taking part with me being new to writing, I was very surprised that I did win a place in this fantasic ebook that is free to down load here, 'Just saying'... :)  http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/250379
There are many wonderful authors in there and it really is well worth checking out. Ben Ditmars is the next very creative mind I do have on here :) He has to fly in today from Mars, but he telly ported this message across to me, for you. A littlie about Ben Ditmars >>

Ben Ditmars comes from the clan Dit of the planet Mars.  He was first published in his planet’s publication The Cornfield Review in 2010.  Since then he has been published in a zine and various online literary journals across the galaxy.  He is a founding member of the Quillective Project, an annual publication to benefit charity and NOT destroy the cecilopods of gamma quadrant 1412 alpha.  If you have a moment, take some time, and listen to Ben co-host the Lyrical Versification Podcast with fellow author and poet Amber Jerome~Norrgard, where we talk world domination, and occasionally poetry.

Hey Ben, Its great to see you have landed down on planet earth safe and sound, great bio :) I know it's a culture shock and it will take some time for you to adjust here; I see you have come in disguise and that's a great thing. If the Feds ever did catch up with you then they would poke you with all kinds of stuff! I know all this from applying for a position there. They said I would have to poke a lot of aliens and how would I feel about that? I thought I had met a few in my time so why not! I wrote down whatevery she's comfortable with and of course depending how Louie feels that day... Well you never know he could of had a hard time the night before! They did a background check and found out about Louie and decided it was best if I didn't come onboard! I said. 'I will cum at home instead, but there were not impressed! I may have misunderstood the question mind you. 'Giggles'...

Sometimes in life we all want more than what we can have, but if you had one wish to have anything or anyone, what would that wish be and why?

If I had one wish to have anything or anyone, I would get a time machine and have everything and everyone.  First, I would high-five Lincoln, then make-out with Cleopatra, maybe read some lost books from the library at Alexandria.  The possibilities are endless.

It's a great thought I will give you that, but you only get one wish! Here's your time machine, mine is over there, only I asked for a working time machine and you have gotten the old Doctor Who Telephone box from the museum, 'Giggles'...

I would like you to make a short story up using no more than 400 words containing every one of these 14 key words; Hen, Game, Nail, Cock, Figure, Window, Government, Dog poo, Sex, Lamp, Spoon, Hole, Flame, Sheep!

The sheep burst into a sex flame and the plan was nearing completion.  Soon, the Hens and Cocks would topple world governments as every creature spooned one another, and eventually, nailed.  Their holes were no match for the Orgasmatic Lamp orbiting earth.  The Game, one rooster called it, would make poultry more than the mere dog poo of society.  General Fry readied the preparations, loading Windows 7.
“Sex lamp activated,” he said, wearing his favourite army boots.  They were a bit eccentric, but chickens were never known for their strong fashion sense.
Chaos reigned below.  The rest of the sheep nailed each other, and moved onto dogs, and then humans.  The humans in turn gave it to the Bengal tigers.  The interplanetary orgy reached maximum power.  “Victory is ours,” shouted General Fry.  But he was as premature as the ejaculation below.
Windows 7 froze at the key moment.  The General tried control-alt-delete, but the system would not budge.  Animals were left having endless sex below, without exploding.  It was a disaster, but none seemed to mind, as all war and conflict had abruptly ended.
General Fry, seeing the pleasure of earth’s inhabitants, realized the futility of his mission.  He turned the Orgasmatic Lamp toward his fellow cocks and hens, and they too did the nasty for all eternity.

Lmao, I will be honest when I say, 'Beam me up Scottie!' Very interesting story and what goes on in your head is beyond beyond :) You did a great job, but I couldn't see the word figure and you didn't use the correct words given! Shame on you... I can't hold it against you, I know you have been away for a long time. You just need to adjust :) Still it was a great and very creative mind to to come up with that. Don't twist what I am saying. I am being serious :)

When I first started writing I had a lot of negative people around me, I know I  had to lose that energy in order to continue writing and fulfilling what others thought I couldn't do. Did you ever experience any of this when you first started writing or was you lucky enough to have the right support around you?

I’ve been lucky to have supportive people around me.  I started writing stories including my friends in middle-school.  They found them humorous, and seemed impressed with my later works as well.  The indie community has also been wonderful and embracing.

A huge high five and that is always music to my ears... I am glad you said people, I wouldn't want my readers thinking there is an alien abduction like there was on Vickie's interview that I did! The Indie world is an amazing place with many amazing people including your good self. It's great to see so many different people working together and helping one anther to be successful in what they do, I totally agree with you :)

If you had a chance to run any country and make a difference, what county would it be and why?

I am very much with Justin Bog in saying Uganda.  It’s intolerable what they are doing to their own citizens.  If we could change the laws against homosexuals there I believe it could be done anywhere.

I agree with you and Justin on that, it is terrible and is far from humane!

What would you say the worst thing a reader has ever said to you and what was your reaction?

The worst thing a reader has said to me was on my blog.  They essentially said I was horrible and should stop trying.

I would like you to vision yourself walking down a busy high street with your partner and suddenly there was a noise that came from her bottom and people turned around looking at you, what would your reaction be and why?
I
would be a gentleman and take the blame, maybe even fart myself.  Or, I would just keep walking and ignore them.

That's the spirit as 'Emily Hill would say, God love her! Would take the blame after all  we are only human :)

Use only two words that would describe you?

BeardedGnome

LMAO! I love it :) Everyone you must read 'Turkey Slap!'
8, Have you ever been…
A, The owner of a lonely heart
B. The owner of a broken heart
C. None of the above?
If the answer is C, please can you tell the reader how you have done it, I can see the reader would being interested to know that one, I know I am.

I have never owned a broken heart, for a broken heart is shattered from possessing no true owner.  The lonely hearts we own each day, or maybe, they own us.

Beautiful... The right heart will come along one day. It happens to us all at some point. I just hope you never do get to own a broken one! I'm damaged goods myself you know, like that cartoon Raggy Dolls years ago; those dolls had it good... I am well getting off track now, 'Giggles' Anyway let's have a little fun...

It's time for a little fun, I would like you to do the rhyme ‘Humpty Dumpty’. Using your own words and without holding back.

Coney Gnomey never felt tall
Coney Gnomey bounced like a ball
All the town’s athletes and the town’s fans
Dribbled and tossed him between their hands.

LOL...Yes! You passed that hands down, 'Giggles'

When you are writing, do you ever think, 'Erm me and my partner did that last night, that has to go into the story as?

Oh, yes.  I’m a poet.  I can get away with things.  I might put it into a metaphor, but she’ll know what’s up.
Lol... I can't get away with sod all as my stories are none-fiction. Whoops! Still I have no regrets :)!

If you could be a musical instrument, what would you be and why?
I would be the ocarina.  It is most angelic.  Also, it controls the fabric of space and time.

Another high five on that, the fabric of space and time, you are so right. Silk sheets are always the best! Whoops, we are not on about that fabric are we... That's me and my mind... Never mind...
If you could change one thing about you as a person, what would that one thing be?
If I could change one thing about myself, it would be that I’m not holding a big bag full of money.  I think I would look better holding a big bag full of money.  Other than that, I really enjoy myself.

Sounds good to me... Please share like we all do on FB LMAO :)
I know we all remember our first kiss, would you say yours was a good experience or a bad one...
Please explain why?

It was bitter sweet.  I kissed this girl spur of the moment, and we only ended up going on a couple more dates.  It would have been nice to have something more romantic and long term result from it.

A long term result is always a good result :)
Do you ever remember a part in your life that’s made a huge impact on you as a person. If so would you like to share that part with the reader?

My grandfather’s death, especially, changed the way I perceive things.  I view service differently.  My grandfather didn't complain, or think the government owed him anything for fighting in World War 2.  Medicare took his house away to pay for his nursing home care, but that wasn't what he focused on.  His focus was keeping the family together and paying off as much of his debt as he could.  I think this made me better realize that what we do for others should be its own reward, and that service is ultimately not self-serving.
He sounds a great guy, I can relate to that with my grandfather. He isn't around today, but he was one of the kind with a heart of gold. His family was his main focus when he was in the war and out and to be honest I miss him like crazy, I even have a tear in my eye writing this now you brought the subject up! Thanks for hitting a nerve,  but it's a great nerve to hit as his memory will always live on with me and boy I do want to make him proud and in my heart I know he is looking down and I am making him very proud. I even did a little dedication on my Youtube trailer for, 'Louie Has Landed The Early Days' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyPu0Z9f8qo Thank you for making some awesome memories come back to life, not that they would ever be forgotten. 'Love you gramps'...

Who inspired you to write or was it always a dream to be an author?

I think it was always a dream.  I don’t know who exactly inspired me, because I’ve been writing for so long.  Robert Frost inspired my poetry a great deal, and Tolkien inspired me a lot in fiction.

I am glad Tolkien did inspire you or I wouldn't be here talking to a guy from Mars! 'Giggles'...
Can you tell the reader about your latest work and also tell the reader where they can find you?

My latest work is a collection of short stories.  They are not my own, but I’ve put them in the public domain.  Our grandmother used to read them to my siblings and me when we were little.  They’ve never had an author, title, or anything, however.  Right now, they’re just on Smashwords, but I plan to get them on Kindle and paperback soon.

It has been awesome having you on here Ben and I wish you all the success this world can offer you.

Hey, Kevin, I came up with a spur of the moment idea today. I made a print edition of the ebook I mention. Could you add a link? I want to donate the proceeds to charity as well.

Of course you can Ben, it's a great idea.

Thanks again Ben, you have been a true gentleman and a star. We would like to wish everyone a fantastic weekend. The next interview will return in two weeks time. I hate saying that, but my work load at this end is through the roof. Don't worry as it's not the end, but only the beginning. I would like to also thank once again, Edith Mosback for being a huge rock and a fantasic support to me and my writing. One amazing lady who I can't thank enough, but I do always manage to slip it in somewhere! 'The thank you's I mean'... I can tell your ready for the weekend :) Enjoy and be safe and until next time, that's us both out of here.
