Moving From iPhone 4S To Moto G
Around the end of 2013 my iPhone 4S starting playing up; struggling to find a signal, not recognising the SIM card. Unfortunately it then got very wet, when I got caught in a downpour with it in my pocket.
I was in the market for a new phone. My first choice was a replacement iPhone, the current models 5S or 5C were my choices, but money’s tight and they weren’t a option, so I started looking at Android and Windows alternatives. I looked at Samsung Nokia and HTC, but again, although cheaper, p...

Bosch TV: Now Available
You can now watch the pilot episode of Bosch online. Go here for the UK or here for the USA.
I watched it this evening and I have to say that Titus Welliver has the character of Harry Bosch down to exactly as Michael Connelly has him written in the books. It’s a great conversion from book to small screen and although this is only a pilot episode, it has all the makings of a great TV series. I certainly hope that a full series follows.
There’s a little taster with some behind the scenes peeks be...

Bosch TV – Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch Coming To A Small Screen Near You
I’m really very excited about something right now. If you follow this blog, or follow me elsewhere, you’ll know that I’m a fan of Michael Connelly. He’s written over 25 novels and has perhaps two of the strongest characters in crime fiction in Micky Haller (The Lincoln Lawyer) and LAPD detective, Harry Bosch.
Now finally Harry Bosch is coming to the small screen in a pilot episode that will be available on Amazon (in the US) and on LoveFilm (in the UK).
The pilot is based around two of Michael...

Book Review: The Shroud Key by Vincent Zandri
Synopsis
Chase Baker is not only a true Renaissance Man, he’s a man who knows how to find trouble. A part-time resident of Florence, Italy, his resume reads like a modern day Da Vinci or Casanova. Writer, private investigator, tour guide, historian, treasure hunter, adventurer, and even archaeological sandhog, Chase is also a prolific lover. Unfortunately for him, his dangerous liaisons all too often make him the target of a jealous husband. Now, at the direct request of the Florence police, h...

New Year; Life Moves Forward
I’ve sat down to write this post several times over the last few days, to review my 2013 and cast ahead for 2014. I’ve deleted that post each time. I’ve erased it because of the simple rule I have here in not talking about work, and because it has occupied so much of last year and probably will this year the post became something of a non-starter each time.
So instead I’m simply going to say I want a better 2014 than 2013. I’m not sure whether that will be possible, but I want to live a health...
