At long last, it brings me great pleasure to reveal the official cover for a book I’ve been waiting years to release. Here’s the cover for The Curse of the Iron Skull, illustrated by artist Casey Burch! You can find more of his work here: http://enethar.deviantart.com/gallery/
In 1935, treasure hunter Dust McAlan discovers the wreck of a pirate schooner, but it’s what’s inside that captures him: a human skull, made completely of iron. Before he is able to decipher its mysteries, he finds the skull stolen from him by Nazi agents who already know more about its secrets. Dust quickly gives chase, but discovers that something in him is changing. Growing angrier, more spiteful, and losing clarity fast, Dust follows the Nazi trail on a desperate quest to cure himself of the curse of the iron skull.
If could lay claim to anything I’ve written as my “masterpiece,” it would be this novel. Fans of Uncharted, Crimson Skies, and Steampunk will find plenty to love here. Pirates, Vikings, Nazis, mythical monsters, strange curses, thrilling action, driving, flying, swordplay, gunplay – everything I’ve ever wanted to write and more. It’s a great story on top of the thrill ride, so buckle in and strap down for the pulp adventure of the year.

Women are tweeting to #SupportThePuff after a girl was suspended for her natural hair
Tayjha Deleveaux, a student at C.R. Walker Senior High School in Nassau, Bahamas, was allegedly suspended from school with several other girls earlier this month. Tayjha’s mother took to Facebook to air her grievances and now people from all over the world are taking to social media to show their support. What’s even more confusing is the school’s explanations for their actions.

Court denies Kesha a preliminary injunction to record her own music
A group of 60 to 100 protesters added some welcome color to Manhattan’s Financial District in New York City on Friday morning. They had gathered to demand freedom for Kesha Rose Sebert, who has been locked in a struggle to break her contract with her producer Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald for years. Kesha’s lawyers have accused “Dr. Luke sexually, physically and verbally abused Ms. Sebert for over a decade in order to make her feel completely worthless and maintain complete control over her life.“
Reporters inside the courtroom indicated that the judge wasn’t sympathetic to Kesha’s case. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the judge denied Kesha’s preliminary injunction, which would allow her to record outside of Dr. Luke’s purview. However, Kesha’s cause isn’t totally lost.
