!!!!!!DONT LET THIS GO UNNOTICED!!!!!!
All Three Major News Networks Ignored Bernie Sanders’ Speech Tuesday Night, To Show Empty Trump Podium

As Bernie Sanders took the stage on Tuesday night, the cable networks continued doing what they do best – talking.

Fox News, CNN and MSNBC all declined to carry Sanders’ speech, instead offering jokes about the evening while showing live coverage of Trumps empty podium while promising that we were all, “AWAITING TRUMP” and “STANDING BY FOR TRUMP.“

In Fact: EVERY OTHER CANDIDATE HAD AIR TIME EXCEPT FOR SANDERS

As if these stations couldn’t get any more corruptThe Huffington Post’s Michael Calderone reported that the media have collectively given Trump some $2 billion worth of free air time.

Don’t be fooled by the media ya’ll. You can watch his incredible speech here & remember You ARE his media

This photograph was taken as King tried to explain to his daughter Yolanda why she could not go to Funtown, a whites-only amusement park in Atlanta. King claims to have been tongue-tied when speaking to her. “One of the most painful experiences I have ever faced was to see her tears when I told her Funtown was closed to colored children, for I realized the first dark cloud of inferiority had floated into her little mental sky.”

Damn this hit me hard , I needed this talk as a little girl. s/o to her mom for destroying the self hate in such a great way

This shit almost made me cry lol

Love this

You know I always think about how I’m gonna address this problem with my kids especially my daughters. I know if someone sat me down and told me things like that at that age it would had spared me so much trouble. The way she handled it was perfect especially because its not the easiest talk to have. I love this ❤

Crying cuz it’s unbelievable we have to tell our kids this and at such a young age they are perceptive of anti-Blackness

I’ve reblogged this before and I will probably continue to reblog it every time I see it. This woman is such a good mommy. Not only did she explain to her daughter in clear and digestible way why she was beautiful and worthy but she smashed down the tantrum without talking over her daughter. She gave her the opportunity to speak in a way that made her feel respected and responded in kind. Her daughter left this conversation with her self esteem intact and a whole new take on how she feels about her skin. Good job, mommy.

Jesus Christ, I teared up. What an amazing mother, she even got her to realize her friend was brown and beautiful too.

it hits home how hard we have to work for our little girls to know they're’re beautiful because the media doesn't do it for us, visual representation is everything. paint every cartoon black, every princess black if you have to, let them know they’re amazing and important.

White people don’t go through this, and they think racism, the whole system, is something you can just get over. “Oh don’t hate white ppl that’s bad” but bitch my daughter hates herself because of you fuck outta here

i fucken loved this

i cried I cant even lie to you!

weeping

Embrace it booboo!!!

Shit made me cry

Obstetric violence is institutional violence. Break the silence.

A lot of these stories feature a male obstetrician, just sayin.

Hospitals also often give women in labor unnecessary medication against their consent (which is listed in the chart in the link as a form of obstetric violence). When going into labor with me, my mother was given a narcotic despite the fact her chart specified no narcotics because she had a history of addiction. After she gave birth to me, they took her off the narcotic, and she couldn’t sleep due to having symptoms of withdrawal. Despite this, the hospital refused to let my mother stay to recover and forced her to leave soon after the birth.

My mother didn’t sleep for three days straight due to withdrawal symptoms. Subsequently, she had a psychotic break. She started talking word salad and hallucinating. At one point, she thought my father, who was holding me, was the devil and grabbed me from my father’s arms and started running blindly down the street with me, thinking she had to protect me. As a result, she was admitted to a psychiatric ward and stayed there for a whole week to recover, separated from me, her newborn child, the entire time. She had vivid hallucinations, nightmares, fevers and other horrible symptoms for days.

Fortunately, she made a full recovery. But there’s a permanent record of my mother’s admittance against her will to a mental facility due to this event, and if things had gone differently, the event could have resulted in my mother harming herself or me, becoming hooked on narcotics, or undergoing permanent damage to her mental health. All because doctors did not honor her chart or her consent.
