Aloe: A Miracle Plant, Indeed…

In January of 2006, my husband and I paid a visit to my in-laws and their beloved Max, a 150+ lb white German Shepard. About an hour into our visit I noticed that Max was acting a bit strangely. I took a seat on their ottoman and the big galoot took a seat in front [...]

Entrusting in Inner Guidance

Having the faith to trust my inner guidance was definitely not immediate, but a process derived from positive and negative life experiences. By being aware of one’s innate ability to manifest whatever our heart desires I discovered ways to listen intently to my higher self; realizing that we all live an extraordinary and rewarding life [...]

Meateater, Vegetarian, Vegan, Raw Vegan – The Evolution

Over the years I've been asked, "How is that someone who's eaten all kinds of meat for thirty years all of a sudden become raw vegan? Well, this type of transformation didn't just "suddenly" occur. My first adult food was a piece of seasoned chicken at a place called Thai Friend restaurant in Jackson Heights, [...]

The Miracle of Love

In the last few weeks I've been blessed to reconnect with my friend, Al Diaz, an international keynote speaker, radio host and author. Al is currently embarking on his "Miracle of Love World Tour 2012″ and I'll be joining him!

Al, my husband Randy, his brother Russell and I are collaborating our knowledge and gifts to host a "Miracle of Love" retreat here in Florida this April, and I'd love for you to join us!

More details to follow in the coming weeks. Here's a video which includes the powerfully heartfelt message behind "Miracle of Love" as well as testimonials from previous events.

608 Yoga Poses to Strengthen and Renew

Asanas: 608 Yoga Postures: 708 Yoga PosturesAsanas: 608 Yoga Postures: 708 Yoga Postures by Dharma Mittra

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After practicing the art of yoga for a few years I acquired this book upon its release in 2003, and have been studying the work of Dharma Mittra ever since. This book challenges the mind and body, strengthening both with discipline. I found some of Dharma's poses a bit intimidating at first, but because of his clear explanations of how to be ONE with yoga, the poses led me to be patient in achieving the highest level of yoga meditation.

The wonderful thing about Asanas: 608 Yoga Postures: 708 Yoga Postures is the reader can use this book as a reference guide and learn the basic, intermediate and advanced practices of yoga. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know the benefit of a yogi mind.

Finally…an automated Facebook, YouTube and Twitter app that works!

I don't usually write about such things, but after tirelessly finding an appropriate – and honest online software that would reciprocate my Facebook and Twitter follows, I came across the addsocials.com site. After seeing their introductory video on their homepage (SOOO helpful) I trusted my instincts and began adding my various social media profiles to the site. Within 24 hours I was notified of fans, followers, viewers and more. The more time you dedicate to networking, the more success you'll have with this site. After practically pulling my hair out signing up for online apps that don't work, addsocials was my savior. Thanks guys!!

Enough…

In reading the blogpost from Dr. Wayne Dyer, there were a few words that immediately seemed to jump out at me..

"Accept that you are enough."

Indeed. As a society inhabited with distractions we tend to see proving oneself to the world as a necessity to live, incessantly wishing we could be the person who makes enough money, loses enough weight, gains enough respect. Since when has our own divine presence here on Earth not be enough to impact the lives of others? Each one of us is at the right place at the right time, continuing to manifest thoughts which will create the destiny we rightfully deserve. If there were no challenges to face, there would be no growth. Nevertheless, as much as we can believe we are powerless to our egos, we are in our infinite self, enough.

Till next time…

Celebrating Women's Health and Wealth

Today I had the pleasure of not only speaking to an audience about triumph, but at my old high school, Martin Luther.

The gymnasium looked no different from the time I spent there twenty years ago,  and never had a thought that I'd be standing on stage, sharing messages of hope and perseverance with others. Beyond adversity, there is triumph.
