What I did on my Summer Vacation... by Chloe Jacobs
Remember having to write those essays every September for class? I hated them because my summer was always boring as hell.
I had to babysit my brother and sister, and we never went anywhere except the odd camping trip, and the teacher didn't seem to want me to write a book report instead, but that's what I was doing. Reading.
It wasn't a bad thing...far from it. I had more summer adventures through books than I ever would have otherwise
But there was that time we drove all the way across Canada. We stopped at so many cool places, including these towns with funny names: SexSmith, Alberta; and Climax, Saskatchewan! (I've also heard of Dildo and Come-by-Chance -- both in Newfoundland of course!) Haha
What was your favourite summer vacation when you were a kid, and what funny places have you been to?
