A kid napping is an incredible relief while a kidnapping is quite the opposite.
That all depends on if you like the kid or not

1 Year in Edinburgh – Melanie Surani
It’s been a year, and boy HAS it been a year.
I guess I don’t have to go in to the whole trash fire of 2016 – everyone knows what happened. It was so numbing I couldn’t get my thoughts down, and this blog has been largely inactive. My books aren’t for sale anymore, and that’s a huge bummer, but I’m working on new things, even if they’re ever only for me.

(not the cover)
Lorem Ipsum, for example. I’ve barely told anyone I’m working on it because it started as a self-comforting activity. When I arrived in Edinburgh last year, I was by myself trying to piece things together as an immigrant. It was tiring and frustrating. I was lonely. So when I wasn’t exploring the free museums in town (of which there are many), I watched 80s music videos, the entire series of Jem and the Holograms, and became way too dependent on listening to a single 70s/80s band every day. No, I won’t say which one.

Sleeping Beauty of OknöKarolina Olsson was a Swedish woman who reportedly slept from 1876 to 1908. During late February, she complained of a toothache. Her family believed her tooth was sore because of witchcraft, and she was ordered to go to bed. However, when she fell asleep, she did not wake up.
The picture above was taken three days before she finally got out of bed 30 years later. Olsson had severe bed sores and was extremely underweight due to only consuming force-fed milk and sugar water.
Looks like her tooth still hurts too
