American Girl is releasing some of their books as free online downloads during the covid isolation period :) It looks like they are posting a historical book, the associated teacher’s guide, and a Smart Girl’s Guide book every week.

ok american girl rant time: AG needs more asian characters, as in both south and east/southeast asia :( ivy was literally their only asian rep and they discontinued her which breaks my heart (she was so cool too) and as a south asian i feel so underrepresented and i would love to see a desi girl of the year or historical girl. it’s definitely necessary and i think the lack of diversity specifically in that area just sends a bad message
